proof plzandthanks
You're late from the hype.
Surprised you don't have one
damn! i was hoping to say that!
Please support your future suggestions with evidence. Opinions aren't evidence: links to trades or screenshots are.
If I may get a clarification: Is proof a requirement of a suggestion? I've always thought it was a courtesy to provide the admins with more information on whether or not to change the price, along with voting, but that the admin would do their own research (regardless of proof).
You need proof. Otherwise people think you're bullshitting. Either way I'm sure it'll be passed due to the mass amounts of hoarders...
No offense mate, but I'm after a response from an admin, not just another user.
the admins will have the final say and voting doesn't really do anything to influence the decision tbh. if you've been around long enough you will know this. the proof is needed as justification if you wanna change a price. otherwise everyone will submit a new suggestion every day.
That hasn't answered my question at all. My question, to an admin, is if proof is a requirement to submitting a suggestion. It is strongly recommended you do amongst the backpack.tf culture, and voting acts as another source of information for the admins, but I just want to know the answer to my question.
don't be an idiot ok. anyone who's been here long enough will tell you that at least some proof is necessary for submitting suggestions. why do you think there are boxes for links in the suggestion form? also, who do you think you are that you deserve an answer directly from an admin? instead of being so stubborn why don't you just listen to advice that everyone has for you! btw, the first person whose thread you replied to (cleverpun) is an admin! so next time please actually go do some work yourself instead of just popping up with questions and negging everyone else who's trying to help you!
...
I didn't neg you. The first person I replied to is indeed an admin, and the question was directed at him, and other people such as you decided to get on their high horse and tell me that for whatever reason, I apparently am stupid. I've been here plenty long, I just want a straight answer. You're not an admin, nor are you willing to give a straight answer. What you ARE willing to do is not pay a shred of attention to what I'm saying. One last time.
AN ADMIN PLEASE, to make sure it's the verdict and not just what is the norm, is proof required for a submission? By your logic, this suggestions shoulda been closed down, as it doesn't meet the requirements of having proof. One easy counter example there.
proof was never a requirement, but if you want your suggestion to pass, you should provide proof. Tons of suggestions are suggested from people simply trying to raise the value of their backpack. Could you imagine what the admins would have to go through to confirm whether the price is right or not? Proof increases the chance of your suggestion being accepted, and makes it easier for the admins as well. Admins usually do their own research, but if you provide proof it gives them a basis of the price, and not have to research everything from scratch.
tl;dr, Proof isn't a requirement, but it makes the chance of your suggestion being accepted much much higher, and without proof it will most likely be turned down unless the current price is very far off, this has happened, but very rare.
btw, im not an admin, but sorry, the admins are probably much busier than you think, as they need to do the research for people just trying to raise their bp value.

Surprised this isn't closed yet.
First timer. Well, proof would have been nice, but I see little reason to upvote.
