Many people are buying for 3.88 and some are managing to buy at 3.77, most people selling for 3.77 are out of stock or have few keys.And those who buy keys at 3.66 are fairly lucky as that person is probably in dire need of metal as there are many suppliers of 3.77/key.

i pay 23 keys + 3*3.66 for his buds! well i have buy more than 10 keys the last 4 days at 3.66 ref with no problems at all! i think the prices are still skyrocketing because of greedy ppl want more ref for their key! i feel very bad about upvoting this! i hope the community can be a better judge in this than me!

Is this range reflective of Outpost? Yes. Is it reflective of the TF2 community as a whole? No. Backpack.tf really needs to decide which prices it wishes to reflect.

It is really easy to buy keys @ 3.66... right now.

No, believe me I've seen numurous big names cash out because of this monkey business. I've had some of my stuff devalued by kids whose bp was worth 1/8th the value of the hat they were suggesting on. I'm sick of this nonsense

If you don't agree with a price, open a suggestion to change it. Otherwise, stop raging at people who are providing a service for the entire tf2 community.

It's a self-perpetuating cycle. If the high end is set at 3.88 right now, people automatically raise the price on outpost by at least 2 scrap. Then people start citing examples from our beloved outpost saying "look these people are buying keys at 4 ref all day long." Keys are like gasoline, if you want to unbox now you will pay the price. You're not going to stop driving just because gas prices are going up. You suck it up and deal. So watch the price rise.

So we report this. If you can buy 1,000 keys at 2.66, then you might have a point. But for the meantime, attempting to change the price away from what it actually is is not on.

stahp people.stahp raising the price of keys.......if this keeps happening,its going to fuck up the whole eco system of tf2....everythings price will decrease,ref in metal would be worthless,people cant cash out properly just because u wanted to make ur backpack worth more.think of the consequences man,it started of and 1 ref which was back then when it was released and because people wanted to make profit of that and kept selling it for more.now,its almost 4 time's the price,stop.we need a lower and more stable price for people.like just completely stable.no going over.if they could,it would be more than amazing because selfish bitches will just keep rising it till its worth like 10 ref each man.thats not good man.think.2.33 was a pretty decent price.dont fuck up the tf2 eco system more than it is right now.

To be honest, this is too soon. A few more days maybe, then 3.66 - 3.88, then 3.77 - 3.88 a few days after that.

Except for the fact that the market usually ignores these price changes. All craft hats are still worth 1.33, for example. Most low end refined trading is on too small a scale for this inflation to mean anything in practical terms.

Yes. This was when the world was completely normal, 3 months ago. Now what's happened to the key world in TF2? It's going completely crazy with greedy resellers hoping either to "increase" their backpack value on Backpack.tf or to resell a single key and make a single scrap, which some users could be using. The amount of keys is going up, yet price continue to shoot up. No, keys will probably not shoot over 5.55 ref. But if it comes to that, I might as well take a trading break and wait for people's greed to die away. In truth, keys were much better when people didn't all sell at 4 refined or 3.88.

So, please stop this key crisis. This is ridiculous, and nobody enjoys it except for the resellers.

7 trades are not enough to represent the entire key market.

Tf2 finance is currently at 3.72 which supports current range.

Please provide much more proof when suggesting prices for currency items
