Suggestion: Strange Escape Plan at 2–2.33 ref

Finding buyer trades were difficult considering the number of lowball and quicksell trades. I hope the number of sellers above the range I'm suggesting outweigh the number of buyers below it. As well, many of the sellers have had willing buyers on their trades.

Side note: I find it pretty usual that buyers will sell for a current range or above, while most buyers will buy for less than the current price, eg. quickbuyers

Links 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8 are not for sale inside your suggested range, so they don't really count for anything.

Links 3 & 5 are within the current range

Link 6 is the only valid one that could support your new range, but even though they were added twice, it remains unsold.

My thinking process was that since there was a significant number of sellers selling significant above the current range, it would be best to slowly rise the price, as I said in the original post, " I hope the number of sellers above the range I'm suggesting outweigh the number of buyers below it."

As a counter-counter proof, the bazaar.tf seller has gotten multiple buyers for 2 refined, and is now unwilling to sell for less.

As well, If I would take everything into account, the price of the strange escape plan would be about 1.66-4 which is much too large a range. I tried to suggest a range that keeps the average price of all those buying and selling in mind while still keeping the range limited to restrict too far deviation.

If you want to suggest a new price, go for it, but don't post it in a comments section.

That being said, proof of that range will be hard to come by in large quantities. It took me a bit over a week to buy under 2 ref.

If one were to let buyers make the price, the price for all strange weapons would be .11-.22 and all hats be priced at 1.00-1.27

the fact of the matter is yes buyers DO make the price, just not QUICKbuyers. basically it means actual trades completed. not whatever it says on some person's outpost trade.

tl;dr version: Selling these for a while; sold 20 so far in 3 weeks @ 2.33 ref after selling 40+ at 1.33 ref; bp.tf doesn't set prices; ask and I'll post inventory screens, etc, etc

I just put a trade up with a s esacpe plan in it, within 2 hours i had 2 people offer 1.66, sold it pretty easy, upvote.

....Of course people are going to buy it for the lowest amount of the current range. He's suggesting an increase.

I'm saying that they responded very quickly, as if that was a good price under the actual value

I don't understand why would people want a Strange Escape Plan... Stranges count kill's, Escape Plan doesn't really help as it is meant to ESCAPE, its no longer the old Equalizer that increases your Damage+Speed when Health is low.

What he's saying is that the Strange Escape Plan was a one-time only deal. Back during the Pyromania Update, the Escape Plan was split off from the existing Equalizer. When the update hit, you got a complimenting version of the Escape Plan for every Equalizer you had. If you had an achievement Equalizer, you got an achievement Escape Plan. Vintage Equalizers awarded Vintage Escape Plans, and this also applied to the Strange version.

Until the Strange Escape Plan is re-released in a future crate, it's not possible to get any of these.
