You can insta-buy this for only 4 keys in tf2warehouse. The stock is even at or almost at 100% most of the time. I have no proof for changing the high value, so I am leaving as-is.
Edit: the math: 65990/4500(ref price) = 14.66 ref, 14.66 ref / 3.66 (key price) = 4.00
Or you can just look at the tf2wh price that is already listed.
... you do realize that if you sell a key to warehouse you actually get about 3 ref for it that is about 12 200 credits , youll have to sell about 6 keys to get it from warehouse.
and its in no way an insta buy either.
i did get my SF axtinguisher but it was a quicksell so 4 keys is long out of the range, most get sold at 5 keys. if anything current range is fine

you can wait for ref to fall below 100%, which happens a few times a day, and you can catch it if you try. or you can look for stuff that warehouse buys at market price and sell that. but that isn't even really the point. the point is that not just can you buy at 4 keys, but more people even sell at that price than buy.

It's completely possible to sell ref and buy the item, but that might be at most once a day. And that isn't enough to change the price of an item. And i highly doubt anyone has time to sit there refreshing warehouse pages, waiting for the ref to drop below 100% which i've never seen happen. Probably because i rarely use warehouse ^_^

about the ref in warehouse. it doesnt fall off very often once about 24-36 hours the ref is at less than %100. and i know this because im an active warehouse user im at tier 7 there and i think i know a thing or two about using the site. YES there are items that go really cheap compared to everywhere else and yes its is completely possible to sell ref if you try hard, but warehouse its a completely different trading world and on most circumtances shouldnt take part on suggestions. for example a s wrap assasin is stil at 2 rec over there, is that correct, i dont think so.
well for one warehouse requires you to refresh the trade where outpost requires you to bump your trades, warehouse requires you to pay attention to the stock levels and respond fast where outpost requires you to pay attention to your friends list, both buying on outpost and warehouse take time, so that point is invalid.
Also, my point still stands: not just can you buy from warehouse at 4 keys, but it is usually overstocked. Also anyone can get almost as many as they want for 4 keys each in ~3 days with about as much energy as outposting. That is MORE than enough proof to justify changing the lower range.

You are the one who needs think thongs through. Look at the price of keys on warehouse since that is what you referenced in your proof. Also warehouse is not a viable source in order to be the only proof for your suggestion.
1. Almost no one sells keys to warehouse, that is why the stock is almost always 0.
2. I only used keys in the suggestion because they are a better currency for this item, besides, most traders treat them as interchangeable, especially if you sell for lower range and buy for higher range, which I did do here.
3. saying warehouse isn't valid proof is like saying outpost isn't valid proof becaus everyone highballs and lowballs there.

Warehouse is not a good place to base prices on because the prices fluctuate. Warehouse has had issues in the past where it has had errors in prices that cost them. If you wish to use warehouse as a source, then it must be injunction with other trading websites such as tf2outpost.
P.S.: the more I've come to use outpost the more I've realized that there are plenty of people that do not highball and low ball. There is however a majority of lazy traders that do not hunt for the best deal.
@Baloo prices fluctuate everywhere, so what. Also its not that warehouse buys for 4 keys, its that they buy for 4 keys and are at full stock almost the whole time.
Van you prove that that has been the price on tf2wh the entire time? Quite they most likely were paying more for the S.F. Axtinguisher before they updated the selling price to what you see currently.

It was 5 keys when they first came out, but I cant prove that (why would I take screen shots of random warehouse pages?) but they were completely overstocked. I really dont know when they changed it, but the fact that it has been at 79/80 stock the whole day shows that they weren't wrong in that suggestion.

we all know keys are underpriced in warehouse, but what are you going to do spent 48 hours refreshing the tf2wh page and waiting for the split second chance in wich you will be able to sell ref before the bots go down with hundreds of people trying to do the same around the globe, yeah man it really is an "insta buy"
amd dont get me wrong it is completely possoble, but still not good enough to change a price here
actually, you can watch the %overstock go down slowly, and make sure to be on when it is almost 0. When it does hit 0 you actually have 5-10 minutes to sell as much ref as you want before the price refreshes. and then the %overstock goes back to 400%. This cycle actually happens quite often, like sometimes even twice a day. but like I said, that is not the point.
He is actually right....but warehouse is a god awful place to post price suggestions from.

Anyone can get it at 4 keys with not much effort: therefor the lower value is 4 keys. How hard is that to understand? You can make as many arguments involving the price of keys or the credibility of tf2wh, but unless warehouse gets removed or the stock of sfAxe drops to 0% and stays there there is no argument that will prove me wrong.
Actually, you're quite wrong. Sure, WH may charge you only 4 keys for it, but in turn, you're paying the same amount. What WH does is they say your items are worth less than what they're selling for, and you give it to them. With lower value credits, you go and buy an item that's 4 keys. In turn, you're paying a bit more than 4 keys since you lost money on giving it to them. In other words, they lowball you while giving lower prices to make the lowball seem acceptable.
@Dj Pootis: Yes warehouse rips people off, but like I said in my previous comment: It doesn't change the fact that you can buy one for 4 keys. you might loose a couple scrap in fees, but that is too insignificant to alter this suggestion.
Also, if the stock suddenly drops to 0% then and only then will I happily admit I was wrong.

hey i would happily upvote a suggestion that has SOLID proof, hell if there was a suggestions with 20 actual sales at 2 keys tomorrow, i would upvote the hell out of it, and i do have a s f axt i also have 1 of every other strange out there, except for the big 3(kritz, gunslinger and caber) oh and im not that into sf 2011. so are you saying i cant vote on a strange weapon suggestion... like if 2 more keys would matter to me
What are you talking about, I have solid proof that:
1. More people want to sell at 4 keys than buy.
2. 4 keys is an obtainable price (which is what the loser range is: the lowest obtainable price)
3. there are sales at 4 keys (also the stock went up from 98% to 100% just now)
Warehouse is proof that many sales have occurred at 4 keys and that tf2wh even has a bit of trouble selling at 4 keys. If anything my suggestion is too generous.
also, unless you produce proof that it is almost impossible to get at 4 keys, your argument is still invalid.
as i said earlier i did managed to buy one at 4 keys, but it was from a quicksellerhe also sold me th SF frontier for 3 keys, should we make the SF frontier 3 key, i dont think so
if people can easily get the SF frontier for 3 keys then we should, if it takes many weeks to get just one, then we shouldn't.

I tend to go overboard when someone disagrees with me. Usually its because I know I am right based on months of experience on backpack.tf
tf2wh is a hard system to beat, strange festives are not one of the main ways to make profit off of. selling craft hats then buying keys is the major way to make profit there also there is buying rare crates for 10c, and there is a few other ways too, most of the time when there is a 0% stock, if you buy that item you will probably gain profit.
