I just put this on here: http://bazaar.tf/trade/144421 and I get 3 friend consecutive friend requests of people that want the paint. 1 of these three people offered me 2 scraps extra so I accepted. I looked a little bit more around trading sites and people sell for more that the current backpack price (2-2.11). So yeah...
