I think the price of White Paint should be slightly increased. Proof/Evidence posted below. I will close this if there are too many disagreements

I got my friend that was selling a couple of white paints to send me a picture of his trade history. He sold one for 2 Keys + 3 Ref (Approx 2.75 Keys) and another one for 3 Keys.

doesn't it cheaper to sold keys on community market and buy white paint in manco?

you get about $4 from 2 keys on the market. So it'd be about 2.5 keys to do so.

indeed. the thing is, this site is supposed to document what people are buying/selling at, and if people are doing 3 keys because they don't know or just don't want to deal with the market, it's our responsibility to document it :/

Buf if people buy irrationally outside of the norm how is it accurate to reflect that behavior as if it were the norm?

I know someone who's twice bought a Gen AWPer Hand for less than 2 ref in the last 2 weeks. I don't suppose you think that ought to be reflected in the price?

I guess I should have been more broad with my comment. I'm not necessarily supporting this suggestion. Just saying that in general, if the proof is sufficient, it doesn't matter if it's rational.

steam market is irelevent and ppl here doesnt seem to use that as proof!some examples vintage fan o war vintage concheror and vintage bills hat those all sell fast for 100 - 130 euro! but they are priced in backpack.tf from 1.7-3.5 buds..

but thats something that gives the opportunity for huge profits as ppl think that a vintage bill real value is backpack.tf price 1.7 buds some ppl even sell those to me for 40 keys !!!! lolz!

When you do the math to see how many keys you can buy with the steam cash you earn, there really isn't as big a difference as you are suggesting.

well if you go and buy keys you are not a good trader!the choices that can bring a key for your money are a lots and cheaper than key itself!not going to revile my trading secrets.you have to be more wise when investing in something a keys ain`t the best option to invest well i have done the math boyos! i have sold already 4 vintage bill 2 vintage fan o war in the steam market and i assure you the profits are so good that i am not planing in selling my rare collectives in a site outside the steam market ever again!

the only disandvantage is i cant post more than 200 euro in value items so i have to wait to sell 1 until i can post another! but that is good for my buisness as it is a way to restrict the offer of those items something that is critical in rare items tradings!

still i manage to sell more than 3-4 per week

They're currently selling for 9.5 or less. It'd be a sad reflection on the economy if they suddenly jumped to 11.

I've seen them sold for as little as 9 keys (I bought mine for a Radigan Brown Bill's + a key), or as much as 10 keys, which they used to be. I'd say that this would help raise the price up to 9.5-10 keys rather than the current 9-10 keys, on a Bill's. But then again, when was the last time the market was rational?

I highly doubt that. There are plenty of quick sell buyers on outpost that will pay 9 keys. I saw two go up in the classifieds yesterday and tried to buy them both. They were sold both times within 3 minutes, and it turns out the second guy was already in my friends' list.

Conclusion:

Making these inaccurate assertions is not helpful ton the trading community and is what causes disinformation to be distributed.

Charging 10 keys=/= selling for such. Sold for 9.5, I goofed up, my apologies, I found the trade in my inv history. Swore I sold it for 9.

Dun goofed. Regardless, that was 3 weeks ago. When did the last price get suggested and accepted? Little less than 3 weeks back.

Edit: Regardless, that's just one guy's story. Look below me for all the upvote. I'm upvoting the paint increase, but I hardly doubt bill's will do a backflip.

This seems like a good place to advertise...selling a White Bill's for 9.5 keys.

i can see that you have quite a bit of proof, however i managed to buy one can, for 2keys pure yesterday, within a few hours of my trades being up :-)

I've put 3 paints for 3 keys each and sold all very fast. I've seen some trades getting the same succes.

First time I've seen a suggestion overtake a key suggestion on 'Highest Activity'.

It's cause Long218's suggestion was closed, then re-opened. For the amount of traffic this suggestion's gotten, it's older, and so is weighted differently for the "Highest Activity" section. How is your Hugh Jazz?
