As you can see the big refined sellers are lowering their prices. If you were actively shopping, you could easily buy lots of refined for $0.35 to $0.37.

      The two bitcoin threads are by me, with the $0.36 being the first and $0.35 the second (I could not alter the topic title or delete the $0.36 one).


      Both are inactive now, mainly because people don't seem to care much about bitcoins anyway (they prefer the chargeback risks). But they don't really make much difference in your proof.

      I can totally understand buying keys on sourceop, but why would people want to buy refined metal? Wouldn't it make sense to buy keys and then trade for refined metal if you actually wanted refined metal? (and again, why would you want refined?)


      I've never done cash trading so I'm genuinely curious...

        People are lazy to sell keys, they may take hours to sell.

          Yep it's a flaw in this site. All items are based off the cash price of refined, but refined isn't the real base currency.


          I have no clue why you would buy refined instead of keys also. If you price your keys reasonably it takes like 5 mins to sell as many for metal as you wish.

              Yes i understand why ppl sell ref. My statement was i don't understand why anyone would buy ref. Even at 0.35 that's $1.40/key :L

                i showed you someone stats, every 1 of around 25 keys sell is a metal.

                thats because many ppl need low amont of metal, and dont want waste time to exchance keys to metal. (for examlpe if a person want 4 ref for do the " Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap" he will simply buy 4 ref, OR it he's want to get tons of craft hats etc).

                your "problem" is that you care about the money, but many men dont care about few dollars.

              The new price matches the ref to key price. One key is $1.44 or 4 ref. so $1.44/4 = $0.36.
