there is no proof to provide... no one seems to be selling these.

It it however a fairly rare effect on a misc. and would logicly demand a high price.

this is the only trade on outpost:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8920745

doesnt say much.

there is no proof.. then why suggest a price that should be based on proof?

because the price is old and owning one myself I know I wouldnt sell that low...

people must know its worth a lot.... there arent even any lowballs :P

price is not based on your opinions, deal with it

actually.... prices are based entirely on peoples opinions. and seeing as you have no intelligent comments or counter proof to provide, please take your trolling elsewhere :>

The counterproof is that there isn't any proof, saying that it is rare and should be worth more doesn't mean anything, take the Uncraftable Hitman promos as an example.

so its no proof = downvote is it?

              thats un-american i say!!

              upvote until proven worthless!!!!!!

so its no proof = downvote is it?

                yes

                thats un-american i say!!

                i'm not american

I'm not American either, and yes, no proof does = downvote.

                    prove me wrong? ^.-

We can't prove you're RIGHT, because there are only two on the market (on the same trade ~2 week old) without offers

Your suggested price is just no-sense, based on nothing

my suggestion is based on the fact the the current price is old and that the only thing even close to evidence is the opinion of someone who owns the hat...

I swear everyone here is totally lost without a link to an offer on outpost.... lol

"my suggestion is based on the fact the the current price is old and that the only thing even close to evidence is the opinion of someone who owns the hat... "

again, that's not how this site works.

Opinios don't not worth nothing, evidences (such as trade links/trade history screenshots) do.

current price is old? It doesn't mean that it's wrong, or too low

sorry, I wasnt aware you were an admin of this site... thankyou for making me aware of that :>

I better partecipate to this flame war.

You better show people that actually sold this unusual for that price. 8)

                ok.

how bout we wait for some opinions from people who actually know a thing or 2 about unusuals before jumping on this?

                sounds good to me :>

(and not to brag, but check my bp.. id say I know something.)

Apparently, you don't know much about this site.

All of your unusual suggestions are without proofs and closed.

Tell me, I can just set a new price for this unusual at 20 buds without proofs? I don't think so.

if all of my suggestions are closed then y do I have accetped suggestions?

                    ya ur right... prolly luck.

I'm fully aware of how this site usually works...

yet people stil seem to claim that these prices are based on the opinions of the comunity.

there is no proof on outpost. what is your opinion comunity?

As a member of the community, I would say you should get in contact with the person in the link provided, have him provide screenshots of how much he sold for, and post that in a new suggestion, with a proper price.

Just because Outpost links say nothing doesn't mean there are no ways to get proof.

ya... cuz thats def gonna happen...

                          I do it.

                          Here: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/50f232dbba2536c869000001

I contacted two sellers because I felt I needed to.

im sure they apreciated someone randomy adding them asking what they payed for their stuff >.>

I asked if they were cool with it. I opened with "Hi, this may be an odd request. Got a moment?" and once I explained myself they were happy to give me the information. Really not that hard, just need some good basic social skills and a friendly attitude.

id have told you to go #$## urself.... guess its just me but its not really anyones buisness what I traded for my items :p

What a shameful suggestion, just looking at the 1link not having been modified is pitiful stuff.

                      http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440/1409004445

That one changed hands sometimes in the last months, there should be more data to get.

a few months ago is an old trade... "dont you know how things work around here"? only trades made within about the last week are relivent >.>

That's for normal items, unusuals are a bit different. Typically, the more recent an offer/sale was, the higher it counts in terms of proof. But for unusuals, where less of them change hands, anything within the range is good if there's little other proof.

O I C... its "what I say goes" around here... and I guess I got the short end of the stick :/

I guess your right because your right... you win?

Huh? I don't understand what you mean.

I mean this whole thing is basicly 3 people tellin me I'm wrong... just because I am.

I dont see any admins here... so maybe clam up and stop telling me "how things work around here"?... your opinion is no better then mine.

Not only admins understand backpack.tf. Saying that is like saying only Congress understand politics.

Look at my profile. I have a five star rating, one admin-closed suggestion, and I'm on the most-accurate list. Wolfi is also a major contributor and a person to be trusted. You, on the other hand, have many closed suggestions, the lowest contribution rating possible, and a bit over 50% accuracy. It's only logical that we would be more trusted.

I'm really not giving an opinion here, more of a sense of how suggestions on backpack.tf are made well. Maybe you should take note of the people telling you you're wrong, and try to understand why.

And one last thing... I haven't disliked any of your comments, though I should. That's an additional indicator.

theres lots of people around here with perfect ratings that just sit around bashing peoples suggestions and then re-suggesting the same thing a little differntly... its not hard to do.

I try to tell people what things actually sell for, and usually no one listens. but oh well... more profits for me :D

Wait, so you're saying that you thought you were correct by doing this: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/511dfdf4ba2536092f000001

And you didn't, you know, want to make a large profit off of it?

I'm sorry, but bullshit has quite a strong smell.

also... why did my suggested price go up?

                          I suggested a price of 5-6buds.

                          not 147keys or 209 dollars or w.e... 5-6 buds.

whats 5-6 buds if buds drop a key? still 5-6 buds >.>

                          gotta love bp.tf....
