I am quite new to price voting so do cut some slack on your criticism.

I am quite an experienced trader with strange knives because I'm a strange knife collector. Recently I've been trying to get strange knives with quick-sell prices, usually 1 scrap to 1 rec below market prices - its been extremely easy to buy these Strange Spy-cicles for 0.66. Furthermore, demand is not high for these Strange Spy-cicles; I believe they will be destined to a sad fate like that of the Strange Big Earner, obscure and unwanted.

Last suggestion was accepted 23hours ago.

Ok, I'll give a more constructive opinion.

You need more proof. Try to provide outpost trades or backpack.tf classifieds selling for .66 widespread. There's no reason to lower the price unless there's a good bit of proof that many are selling for .66 and nobody's buying at .88.

Well basically I found many many traders selling Strange Spy-cicles; in fact I had bought one for 0.66 almost instantly; it was as if my client hadn't had any other customers. The trade was closed so I believed it was irrelevant.

This may be true, can you link us to the traders? It's probably still in your history, and it'll help validate your suggestion. We can still see closed trades, so link us to it please.

Also, why do you just have 2 strange knifes, as a knife collector ? There are more.

Just to let you know, here you need proof of sales in your suggested range to get accepted. A good place to go is outpost, or if you have done trades, your own trade history.

You need a large quantity of proof, links, and/or screenshots to prove that the price you suggest is correct.

Show us some unsolds at .88, and they cannot be recent trades either.

Plus, .66 is in the current price range so you need proof of some unsolds.

I sell them everyday for 0.77-0.88. I've watched the sorry fate of the Spy-cicle go down mostly because of perception and less because of proof.

People are willing these knives into the bin, not because its true but because thats the impression. I've been selling them every day for the last 2-3 weeks and people believe their demand is lower than it actually is.

I literally just sold one, 0.77, and the guy overpaid me for some reason. The only reason I lowered my price from 0.88 was because after a price vote everyone changes their habits to the upper end so 0.88 was no longer 1 scrap below max (ie. makes you stand out).

This doesn't make sense to me at all. Demand isn't exactly over the moon, but its high enough that people are paying more than 0.66. If you tank these to a flat 0.66 just because you THINK its supposed to be cheap then you're just an idiot.

Yes, I sell them, I have many of them, but I know from experience they sell higher than any of these price reductions has shown. I'll vote this down as I voted the rest down because my day to day experience is not consistent with this site's apparently belief in this weapon's lack of value.

May i give you a suggestion? Get some proof from some trades as well, like on outpost or bazaar. But i do agree that people are demanding less (sadly), but find some trades that you can provide as proof.

Less demand doesn't mean lower price, not in absolute terms. Besides, the item already had 3 price reductions inside of 20 days, how can we know what its really worth if we make another inside of a day? I had 3 spy-cicles when I commented 7 hours ago. I sold all 3 for 0.77 in that time frame.

I think people are greatly exaggerating the lack of demand. Its just not as big as for other items. I find Kunais sell just as slowly as Spy-cicles, yet nobody thinks they're worth less.

I never said that a lower demand means a lower price, christ no. But yeah, most people go for the rarity. Although the demand has an effect on it too. How do you think that the earbuds got so expensive, dispite being so common? Yes, the tf2 market is not the most stable one but atleast, it's working. I only agreed that people are'nt demanding this item as much as they used to do in the past. Atleast, i don't see people looking for it so much now days when i play ingame. And i agree, they are not worthless, but i find the kunais being sold slower than the spycicle. Might be because of how difficult it is to use the kunai.

Well, you know that the crate #54 will stop dropping, its not a cheap strange, and that you want to make it for a lower price without proof its not enough, and no one cares about you opinion without Proof!

One time, I sold a strange Bat for a key, and the guy couldn't find anyone else who was selling one. And I didn't use it as proof for a price suggestion, or claim to be a strange Bat collector. Luck is different from wide range price change.
