You won't find many sellers at the current bp.tf price, most of the traders who're selling for 6 Keys are out of stock. From experience I can say that people who pay buyouts simply add the OP without commenting on their trade, even so you can find plenty of offers for 7 Keys. Hard to find proof for buyers mainly because the good offers are taken almost instantly and there's no way to search for closed trades. When searching for buyers you can only find extreme lowballers who have little to no success.

Well if people are still buying and selling at 6 keys, shouldn't the range be 6-7 keys and not 7 flat?
I knew someone would ask this question and my reasoning is the following. Everyone selling at 6 Keys is doing so because that's the price on backpack.tf and not based on actual demand. There's a pretty large demand for these since they are the best paint spell in the game. Most sellers price them at 7-8 Keys and many sell for 7. You could argue if the range should actually be 7-8 or not but I just didn't find much proof that these sell for 8 Keys or more. It's possible but right now it's a stretch. I think a solid 7 is the right price for them at this moment.

Seems simple enough to find for the current price. Even though there may not be many sellers of this item, and it may be relatively rare, the price is high enough to deter buyers. 3 keys was the highest I've ever seen paint go for before; this is double that already.
edit: offers on most trades look like they're coming in around 5-6 keys. With the number of 6 key sellers, I'm fairly confident you could buy this for 5-5.5 keys at the moment, and definitely no need to raise the price on the guide at all.
If Simon is reading this then he can prove me wrong but from what I see he listed 6 spells less than a day ago and he's already sold 4 of them. The following trade that sells for 6 Keys already has 2 buyers in the comment section alone. That only proves there is demand for it. With people willing to pay more than that 6 Keys is what I'd call a quick sell.
It's funny how buyers and sellers see different markets. :)
I don't doubt that you were able to sell some at 7 keys; I'm just saying that the guide price should show that 6 keys is still the average, as a lot of buyers are bidding 5-5.5 and sellers like you are asking 7.
Perhaps a 6-7 key suggestion would be better received.
I used to be selling them at 6 Keys without much trouble, occasionally for 7 but that was rare. Over the past week I've noticed an increase in demand so I raised my price and found it easy to sell for 7 Keys as well (I've checked and we're talking about 15+ spells sold). I have virtually exhausted my stock of Spectral Spectrum so I don't have much to gain from a price increase. It's just the experience in me speaking and I see the same thing happening with many other sellers.
With so many traders (trying) to sell for 8 Keys and more and more 6 Key offers rejected, 7 seemed the average to me.
