Mostly buying for 2 buds (54 keys). Sometimes for 50 keys (1.8 - 1.9 buds)

3rd link actually made a suggestion on this hat a few hours ago. Go there:

      http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5139ce794bd7b8011b000001

      Check the comments.

He says he buys lots for less than 50 keys.

dont use my words in your likes mate!!

i was buying lots for under 50 keys not any more!

        period...

        UPVOTE

You know, I wouldn't really want to take advice from you; you buy and sell V. Bill's, all the time trying to raise and lower the prices to your benefit. You claim to make 10+ key profits every time you buy and sell it, and your trade itself says that you buy for 44 - 54 key average. (1.88 buds.)

Also, I don't understand what you mean by, "period..."

I personally think that Baloo's suggestion is far more accurate than this one, as there are 10+ painted that are unsold for 2 buds.

          Don't believe me?

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9139830 - 2 buds.

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9156294 - $60, 48 keys if keys are @ 1.25. (1.84 buds.)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9137451 - Same guy as above, 2 buds.

i buy and sell vintage bills for profit!what are you a magician?

how how how in the world you guess that?

the profits are in my graphs mate i cant lie to numbers!

i have upvote both that 0.1+ in price its good for now!

to be honest i buy 30-60 so 45 is the average

            ^^

did you see what i just did here?

i have provide screenshots of my bought bill`s

look at the dates and put in your head that vintage bills are about to extinct i just was the first to realize and of course took full advantage of it raising my value 350 refined in 1 week is that a crime?

if it is can you forgive me?

or you can behave as an adult and do some research?

its just impossible to buy for less than 48 keys anymore

            and thats a fact!

i will buy 1 more this week probably for 50-51 keys

if i am lucky and he waits for me

ppl are adding me like crazy for it

so my guess is that the demand have outcome the offer.

more than 80 sold in one month in steam market resulting prices to go up!

I dont accept the backpack.tf fresh price strategy because the infos are limited to 1 week helpfull for keys but for that tier, just inappropriate

(it is the best currency if you do steam market sales because of the 200 limited sells per year)

that's something every owner have realized by now!and they will rise their prices that's for sure

i mean you cant sell a hat with such characteristics 1:1 for any max head

so 2 buds is good for now and the next 1 month or so.

I lost you at, "look at the dates and put in your head that vintage bills are about to extinct".

Also, I think you care more about raising your BP 350 refined in a week, and having people forgive you then helping out the community.

"Do some research!" What do you see up there? Lots of unsold up there for 2 buds. I found more "research" than you did in your price suggestion.

"i mean you cant sell a hat with such characteristics 1:1 for any max head

so 2 buds is good for now and the next 1 month or so."

Look at all the ones unsold for 2 buds. Now look back to your statement. Look again. Look back. What do you see? Oh, yes, it's wrong.

Every owner has realized that V. Bill's is the best currency? Heck no, V. Bill's are nowhere near as good of a currency as normal Bill's. Also, please make sure your grammar is correct, as, "they will rise their prices that's for sure" is an incorrect English statement.

8 hours trade 1 day trade 6 hours trades!

i hope you are just try to be funny

and the last guy have sold it for 2 buds so not that good of a proof for you!

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9118937

I put the last one in for your comment.

"i did try to raise the value my self by suggesting a new price so i can continue to buy more of those but it was rejected as such i am sorry that i cant offer more than its current price dude!"

The trades I put up are not 8 hours, some are months and weeks old.

                http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8856606 - 54 keys. (2 buds.) [10 in stock.]

also this guy have sold 1 since yesterday

I find it useless to argue with you, your points are all invalid and I need to waste time trying to comprehend your English.

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8856606 - 54 keys. (2 buds.) [10 in stock.]

yesterday he had 4 in his bp now he have 3 .

yesterday he sold 1 vintage bill`s. for 54 keys

how was my English now ?

                      If I'm correct...

                      4 - 3 = 1, not 2.

you know what after watching at your profits i think you need all the advice you can get mate!

no offense here but your progress is average so your trading skills and pricing skills are not doing very well in my opinion

after all the profits proofs if you can do a descent pricing in items and this is a bit out of your league in my opinion again.

if you think not go and try to buy one.

Let me give you all the advice I can to make you a better person.

Starting off, personal attacks on other traders will not only make you disliked by others, but also will show that you have certain insecurity within you. I'd like to ask you to refrain from making these remarks, as they provide nothing to the suggestion.

                    Now, with your comment.

My trading profits are actually remarkable, in my opinion. Yes, you may not care about my opinion, but before criticizing my progress, let me tell you a bit about myself.

From what I see, you don't seem to be much more successful than I am. I am a F2P trader that has not spent a penny on Steam. I've made Source Filmmaker posters and satisfied lots of users, for absolutely free. Through making one poster, I was traded a dirty Huntsman and a Vita-saw less than a year ago. Since then, I have traded my way up to what I have now. In less than a year, I have achieved many things: Obtaining level 100 buds, having 2 buds in my inventory, being the first F2P with 450 BP slots. (I used 4 backpack expanders.)

Along with that, you seem like an average TF2R raffler, with less than 100 reputation, which I'm assuming you accumulated from raffling small things. Me? I have 1400+ reputation, and have raffled 10+ keys worth of items.

http://tf2r.com/kcm734w.html - Look here, already 10+ in a single raffle.

My BP.TF status? Well, I have over 1000 points and was 3rd most accurate voter with 200+ votes last month; I even received a special craft hat from BP.TF's very own creator, Brad Pitt. My pricing skills are far better than yours; you have less than 60% voting accuracy and -5 reputation, which is as low as it can get. You have lots of rejected suggestions, all which you neglect to learn from.

I would not take advice from you, in my opinion, as you're not the best rolemodel.

I hope you consider my words, and learn from them.

Hold on, let me dig out some counter-proof from a recently closed V Bill's suggestion...

            Here we are:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9074252 Guy got an add for the middle of the current range (47 keys)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8438682 Another guy has a few adds for 1 bud + 16 or 17 keys (or in key form: 43-44 keys valuing buds at 27 keys) depending on paint. Below the current range even.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9070044 Got an add for 46 keys.

Remember that B/O's are not a good enough reason to raise prices. The guy in the second link hasn't sold his V Bill's yet from the looks of it.

I'm the second link, I bumped my prices by a key today because I haven't gotten a seller in over a week.

In that same time, I paid 48 keys (~1.75 buds) for one, sold one for 55 keys (>2 buds), turned down an offer of ~2 buds in items, and also turned down a 48-key offer.

It used to be possible to buy for buds+11 keys, steam market has driven up demand (they sell there for $110-130+fees, which is 55+ keys if you get bp expanders or gift wrap with the proceeds).

It's very very easy to sell for 50 keys, and 2 buds is a reasonable, gettable high end. I would say the suggested range is more accurate than current range, but 1.8-2.0 would be better still.

                i have turn down,4 times last 2 week a 48 key offer,2 times a 50,1 time a 52

and i am not going to sell because i get this feeling it will be really hard from now own to buy a vintage bill!!

after all out of 1626 hats only 20 more or less are up for trade and the numbers are going fewer day by day!

none of your proof has actually sold for 2 buds so I'm downvoting

I have sold a few v. bills for 2 buds but it was purely luck. Your 'proof' is based on b/o that hardly ever someone pays.

No offense mate, but OP tends not to be the best proof (If referring only to B/Os. Thought I'd clarify that). It's used cause it has high traffic and a large amount of open trades at any given time, but setting prices based on the B/O would just lead to another Key fiasco for every item. That, and on Pink Taco's Unusual server, they're treated as 1.8 buds (Someone asked for a PC).

and how many are sold in that taco place mate! caus a vintage bill owner is not going to sell the hat there thats for sure

well i'm not suggesting or voting for this item , reason no any suggestion passed 5 months ago http://backpack.tf/vote/126/3/0

in fact , if you want proof to bump it up you able to find it and you also able to find proof to lower the value .

                  personally i'd suggest a large range 1.6-2.2

Wow, nobody could really prove they sell for 2 buds, this suggestion included, and you would like to say they do for 2.2?

Sorry, but your range would be even worse than the one suggested here.

sold for 62 keys 6 tiems in steam market , sold for 2.5 buds in unusual's many times.

Let me guess, you take the high end of the Unusual, the highest Market price for the Bill's, don't calculate Market fees and pick the lowest Key price in $ you can find.

I don't see any trade where you sold a V. Bill's in the last 4 Weeks either. So if anything, you bought an Unusual with your Bill's and the trade owner probably valued it at 1.7-1.9 Buds.

I'd love to see you calculation of 62 Keys.

                        Mine: $116 / 1.15 = $101 / $2.18 = 46.33 Keys / 26.5 = 1.75 Buds

And I even rounded / priced in "your" favor.

Anyway, the Market is sth. different, not trading for Keys and Buds directly. And usually the Unusual is priced based on the relatively stable price of the Promo, not the other way around + assuming the Unusual is not a quicksell either.

                          http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Vintage%20Bill%27s%20Hat

1 key = 1.99$ not 2.18$ , i can buy gift wrap from shop and sell it for 1 key easy in 1 day or 2 tickets or expander's or whatever, now the history of highest Solid:

                          15 feb : 164$-fees= 138$ /2 = 69.5 keys

                          15 feb : 2 sold 174$-fees = 148$.75$/2 = 74.3 keys http://i.imgur.com/TX1nhSw.png

                          15 feb : 161$ ..... 68 keys

                          16 feb : 170$, 162$ , 161$ , 149$ = 60-70 keys

                          19 feb 149$ , 127$ = 61 keys

                          20 feb : 162$ , 62 + keys

but also sold 136$ - 120$ .. etc ... in range 45-55 and some went for

                          105$ = 44 keys

                          103$ = 43 keys

and one sold it for 99$ about 39 keys

now to take average of those 40-65 it's 1.6-2.2 buds

Since when do Keys have a fixed price $1.99? Mann Co. is $2.49, the current Market price is $2.18 and the current v. Bills price is $116.

What the prices were 3 weeks ago is irrelevant. Both, Bill's and Keys had different prices then.

Your screenshot only proves you are cherry picking, as I suspected, and besides that does not show the current Keys price that corresponds to that.

What you manage to trade in between (Gift Wrap, ToD, Expander) to get the most out of it, is irrelevant.

If I sell my Vintage Bill's on OP for an Unusual, and then sell that for for 2.8 Buds, does that make the Bill's worth 2.8?

Gift Wraps, btw, cost $2.25 median ($2.18 avg) in the Market. If you can figure out why they are higher than in Mann Co., then you can also figure out why Market prices are not suitable for price suggestions here.

Please spare us your naive miscalculation.

did i said it's not going cheaper than 1.7 ? no

but you claimed "nobody could really prove they sell for 2 buds "

here is proof of sold more than 2 buds even if supposed keys is 2.2 and this rate not correct but still 150$/2.2 = 68 keys 2.2 buds pure .

You still don't get it! You trade in Steam Wallet money, not in 2.2 pure!

I don't deny there were / are arbitrage opportunities in the Community Market at the right time, but they are irrelevant here. And it seems those days are over too.

If anything, relevant is what's happening now, not 3 weeks ago when the Community Market was still figuring things out (and maybe still is).

                                  @ uranium

considering buds more pure than steam funds is a wrong assumption they are not even marketable to begin with!and the price of those pile of keys are always going up and down.

it could help us to get a steam wallet currency and what other hat can do that besides vintage bill`s?any ideas?

how the ``pure`` is rearranged since January

                                  Steam wallet>keys>marketable items> everything else!

steam funds is the purest form of payment,as you can turn that money to games or items you wish to get,

I've sold a black vintage bill's for a bud and 25 keys before.

I still think that 1.7-1.9 is in order. It's not only a pretty narrow range, but I don't see as many going for 1.9-2.

Quite hard to find a buyer that will buy for 2 buds flat, 2nd link has been open for a month without any decent offers (near the new suggested range)

current suggestion would be a better range. Downvoted for now

worth pointing out that that second trade is terribly made, the guy has neither keys nor buds on the right hand side, and comments say "Circling Heart's Exquisite Rack, That's it.

DO NOT OFFER ANYTHING ELSE! I". Comments also say "2 buds/54 keys/blablabla".

I've read the trade 3 times and I still don't know if he'd sell for 2 buds.

He has multiple offers for buds+20 keys but since he's an autistic retard who just hides posts instead of responding, the offers provide no clue either.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8830874#/32284578 A guy here offered a max head + sweets for a v bills.. I'd like more proof, but I'll upvote.

The max that was offered was level 1: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8875286

level 1 and level 7 notoriously sell for less than other level max heads.

I was not aware of that

Well it is because most thought that they were duped, but in fact it is because people cracked the code for obtaining max's heads that people did not claim when the promo came out, but by then standard levels for promo items had been put into place so all the ones that came onto the market because of this were level 1 or 7. Since they were gotten through "less than morally acceptable methods" the people often quicksold them for less in order to get their profit and dispose of the evidence. That happened about a year or so ago, so most people have gradually gotten over it, but the ripple effects are still felt today.

also i like the fact that you are so good informed on oddity`s occurred in tf2 universe!

                                we cant assume things here!

level 1 or level 100 i really dont see any special prices in here so i wont consider that as lower

You wish there were special prices though: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/50c06bd7ba25368227000068

Anyways I'm simply raising the price of the V. Bill's Hat as you've been trying to do in your past 6 suggestions: http://backpack.tf/vote.php?skip=0&all=1&steamid=76561198002055092

yes i wish we will get special prices for those levels but since we don`t its not an acceptable argument!i consider them equals but i wont accept them. i hope thats clear enough!

after all i go by backpack.tf prices and considering level 1 or level 7 different in price is your opinion maybe mine too! but equals in backpack.tf so what i think or you think is irrelevant here!

if backpack.tf accept the level range i will accept your argument too..

                                      peace

I upvoted the 1.8-1.9 range, because this is just too high. It won't always sell for this range. And that's coming from someone who has 2 atm ;)

i have 2 too yes they wont sell for that high for over if they do i wont be able to buy more!!

I have brought a V bills for 2 buds before and I have sold it at 2 as well - sadly there is no proof for this :/ if you look on outpost im sure you could find a majority for 2 buds

Check your inventory history and make a screenshot :)

unfortunately in outpost you cant track more than 22 .

There are many who are attempting to sell v.bills for 2 buds, and failing. I feel that 2 buds is a bit high at this time, so I'm going to pick the other suggestion for a more conservative rise.
