They sell it for that price because most people don't even know you can buy it and because it's new.

If i ask 20 keys for a normal weapon and someone pays that to me, what's the problem?
There is a huge difference between a normal weapon and a Genuine Ap-Sap. Do I even need to explain this? Nobody would ever pay 20 keys for a normal weapon. Even if that did happen (in la-la land) that person is just extremely lucky. Normal weapon prices have already been determined because they drop. Every single day. This is a new item, in Genuine form and only achievable by purchasing a product from a completely different site.
This site reflects the sales of traders, not what you believe or think. You're just being rediculous.

While I agree with you about people being idiots paying more for this when they could buy the Soundtrack AND the Ap-Sap for less, this won't pass because it seems people are paying for them what the sellers want for this item.
It's ridiculous yes.
And BlackOut, you can't compare the Original with this as the chances of getting it are ridiculously slow (first drop the crate, then open it and get one of its contents), while this has a 100% chance of appearing (pay for the soundtrack, then open it and get the Ap-Sap).
I'll stay neutral because I know this won't pass but I agree that this should be the maximum price of the item.

The unusual offers are mainly impacient people. I agree with the fees and the time but 21 dollars is still less then a bud.
Gonna be honest with you. I don't know how much the Sandvich from AAA was worth, but it now cost 350USD (Aprox.) in Ebay. Probably due the code inside. The prices goes up, but although, the Portal 2 Soundtrack doesn't seems like "limited" as the Sandvich one.
If the soundtrack wasn't on sale, there would be a good reason for high prices, but imagine this in a real world concept: You buy something that is still selling, the price doesn't go up. But if you have something that is impossible to get the price goes up.
Yes correctly. They stopped to make sandviches, only people on Ebay or maybe some places will sell, but NOT officially anymore (until maybe other time).

lets face it if you are going to pay you are going to use paypal and selling/buying keys through paypal is NOT 2.50$ each
It's about $2, Valve sells it for $20, Amazon sells it for $14, plus you get a soundtrack and the AP-SAP comes for free, not to mention that you get a copy of DOTA 2 with three stranges weapons that you can sell. It should be cheaper.
Keys through Paypal are worth about $1.35 last I checked. You can fetch about $2 for them on the Steam market, but that money will be locked into your Steam account so that is irrelevant here.
It is true you can still buy the Portal box. However, it appears at the moment demand for the Ap-Sap is much higher than supply, and not all people know about the box or can buy off Amazon (e.g. they might not have an Amazon account, no Paypal, etc.). That, plus the hype about this object, are all reasons its market price is currently above the price of the Portal box on Amazon.
Dumbass Hes saying that buying it from amazon would be cheaper than the buds people are asking for so what if he doesnt have OP of Bazzar trades I think this is valid proof considering people are trying to sell it for 40+ $ on Steam market when its at most 17-21 dollars on amazon. upvote
The Soundtrack is still available from the Valve Store at 20.00. I'd say no more than 8 keys. Still in stock, no need to go nuts overpricing it. Raise the price when they are out of stock.

There is a huge hype around this like every new item that was released in this update.In a few weeks this will be it's price probably. (and i'm sure there will be unique versions too). Also,that's not a good proof.
I've been trying to buy one. Price is at this moment much higher than 8-10 keys; around 15-16 I'd say, with this possibly selling for up to a bud. I would however wait with a price suggestion until price settles more.

The selling/buying prices are obviosly high and none of them can be confirmed to be the correct one, it's the first day after the item release, there's an extreme hype to get/sell it.
this price seems logical. but it is still to early. the demand right now it just too damn high. repost this vote in a week or two and it will surely pass.
So true, The buds is like 70 usd in keys. And the Ap-sap can be buyed with the soundtrack for 20 usd in the VALVe online store. My point is. 1 Bud is ridiculous for a simple wep that anyone can get.

As for you Mate9. That is not proof. It is a link to Amazon. Thats very nice of him to provide that but we need trade proof that the item deserves to be worth 8-10 keys. This is what we proffesionals call "collectors item". It will probably not be re-released thus its price will jump.

I still think it's a bit early to price these items, since the supply of them is increasing (somewhat) while demand fluctuates. There are buyers willing to spend more right now, so this wouldn't be an accurate price. Give it a day or two to stabilize
