I know that many people will downvote without reading this because my proof isn't trades, but here it goes.

http://stats.tf/item/5068/Salvaged+Mann+Co.+Supply+Crate+#50

The link shows that there are almost 30,000 of these crates.

http://stats.tf/item/933/Genuine_Ap-Sap

This link shows that there are about 530 Ap-Saps, which people are voting to be between 10 and 15 keys on average.

http://stats.tf/item/928/What's+in+the+Portal+2+Soundtrack+Box?

This link shows that there are 2,420 What's In The Portal 2 Soundtrack Box. People are voting this between 15-20 keys.

Now do the math.

2,940 of these items exist (the one, when unboxed, becomes the other), and there are 29,746 of this item. In addition, this item requires a key to open, while the other does not. The value will only go down as more people find it. These are still dropping and will most likely continue dropping for quite some time. I understand that these are going to be valued higher than other crates, but A BUD? Really people? Think about this for a minute. (Sorry for the rant.)

    Your name explains it all.

      1. If you hit the tab on your first link that says "Crates," you'll find that there are only around +/- 22 Crate #50's in existence. This disproves everything else you say in this post

      2. Even if you were correct in that there are almost 30,000, the economy isn't solely based on supply, there needs to be a demand for the object. Crate 50 is worth much more because people can a) still obtain the Ap-Sap via Amazon or Steam and b) Crate 50's contain items which (in my opinion) are much more wanted. Almost every soldier wants a strange original, I'm sure.

      3. You have no proof of any sort of reason for this change to happen

      /rant

Dude. That link says its for Salvage Crates in general. There are actually very few Salvage crate 50s out there, especially because most have been unboxed already.

Also the number in existence doesn't matter when people are paying over a bud for these things atm.

          You really are ignorant

            Way2RewordMyWittyJoke

            lol, synister

              #freerep

You have no proof and your only evidence is from stats? You need to find out what the sellers successfully sold this for before you can make these propositions

What is kinda odd is how fast these are dropping. I mean seriously, there are so many after what, 3 days?!

                    Ummm......here's the right link....

                    http://stats.tf/item/5068/series/50/Salvaged_Mann_Co._Supply_Crate_%2350

                    You.......what.

according to meet the stats, there's only 22 of them

1 day after the update, and there are almost 30k #50 crates? Please, have at least a minimal logical mind before you suggest any price.

What is demand? Economics dosent have that.......
