Overall, I feel that the price has, and will continue, to rise. The links should be adequate proof. If you have links that will help prove or disprove this suggestion, feel free to post them in comments. If anyone finds me a person who sold for under 5 in the last 2 days, I will remove this suggestion.

1st problem, you own 2.

2nd, the first link is fake, he didn't even get a 6 key offer (I hate people like this).

3rd, none of those actually sold.

Downvoted for a failure to provide good and solid proof for the suggestion to pass.

The number in his backpack is irrelevant, people who have items they're suggesting a price increase for still pass, because the proof is valid, which is all that matters.

The suggester actually requires sales, not prices people have set.

People are selling this for 5 keys, it's fine at the current range.

But what I'm saying is that your first reason for downvoting isn't valid, but that doesn't mean that your vote was incorrect (or correct).

As long as people are willing to pay higher, the price will go up. but i completely disagree with this suggestion, if anything, this might need a bump down. I dont see any happening at 5.5, and a ton with a b/o of 5 o.O

Not really, scared buyers will pay 6 keys for it, while a lot of people have b/o's of 5 keys so it doesn't really matter if you sold 1 widowmaker for 6 keys, because you can buy one quick for a lot lower in price.

Exactly, and when this happens to unusuals. The seller changes the price on bp.tf because of 1 trade.

i cant reply to the other one, but, no i've never really seen that happen. The only time when a price can change because of 1 trade is if the item is 1 of 1, or the only one on the market, and the others are untrackable. but this is different, scared buyers can change prices. If people are willing to pay a certain price, then that should be in the price range, whether they are scared buyers or not, it doesn't matter. But, if they are just lazy buyers who dont look through other trades, and buy the first one they see, even though some have a lower b/o, thats just retarded, and shouldn't be used to change the price.

What happened to getting off this suggestion? You do make a good point with some of your links. However, if nobody is selling for under 5 keys, then the price range should be at the lowest 5-5.5.

There's 2-3 people selling for lower than 5 keys in my links. You realize that I only took a small amount of time to find those. 5.5 might be considerable, but there's a lot of b/o's for 5 keys and the current price range is fire where it's at. Maybe 5 keys solid is a better price?

For this suggestion to pass, you need to show that you cannot get Widows for 4.5 keys, that 5.5 keys is a median price, whereas right now it's an upper tier price, and selling for 6 is doable with patience.

You haven't shown any of what I've said, and also 5 links is not enough, the link boxes were removed ages ago so there's no excuse for skimping out on proof.

Not that his proof or your proof is correct or incorrect, but you seem to be hung up on this "scared buyers" notion. You should not try to shoot down every comment on this trade by saying "Scared buyers" because that just makes you look entirely opinionated, and that doesn't get a good logical point proven. People don't want to hear what you think the price should be, they want to hear what people are actually selling them for.

However you will get stragglers that got it from everyday trade and have it now that will sell it cheaper, so it may take a bit longer to raise the price fully.

I have to agree with this, since I think it is definately inevitable that price of Crate #40 stranges AND itself will go up, so I see no reason why not to speed up the process. It will hit a limit sometime.
