Although the CD is still on sell, the fact is that once people knew it contained the Ap-Sap, they wanted it; and there isn't even a 0,1% of the players which own one.

The CD may stop selling really soon, and if the Ap-Sap doesn't come as an Unique, then it should be a lot more expensive.

Given how much time it took for the box to open (it first appeared at October 17th, unlocking just a few days ago), it seems unlikely that the CD is gonna be sold for long (quantities sure are limited).

Much like Robo-Sandvich, it seems unlikely to be re-released at Unique quality; so once the selling stops, it will be a very wanted item, which not everyone will have.

I think I don't need to much arguments to say why people would want one more than Earbuds, Tux, or Max's Severed Head (although I'm not saying it will have the price of the latter).

Good point, but according to http://stats,tf, there are only 786 Ap-Saps and around 2153 Portal 2 Boxes.

There are around 9358 Max's Severed Head and around 61000 Earbuds, so, even when the CDs have been on selling since October, the quanties are pretty limited.
