i took the middle value of the unusuals, what is a better way to count unusual overpay?

For me, unusual overpay is taking the middle of the range of the unusual, then multiplying by a factor from .9 to .95. For example, if a hat is worth 3-4 buds, then I would count it as 3.5 * .9 = 3.15, so around 3.2 pure.
