I just wanted to convert this ref price into keys for everyone :D. No need to be angry
Not angry, I'm just wondering why it's necessary.
to elaborate - they are currently the same value, so this is just a bump (which shouldn't happen). If the price of a key changes and the two values become different, then I would understand such a suggestion.
Any proof of key sales? I'm not sure why we need to swap it.
I didn't really see a need for proof on this if you hover over the 6 ref it says clearly 1.48 keys.
Because if it is swapped to a key value, its price in metal would go up every time the keys go up.
Well if the clean ones are going up then I think the dirty should be the same then
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
Eh, that's not how I see it but ok
Items are priced in the currency they're usually traded in, since higher tier items tend to keep their price even when keys/ref change.
if you put your mouse over the 6 ref, it shows you the price in keys. No need to convert it, unless you can prove this happens mostly in keys and not metal.
Trades were someone is asking for 6 ref or 1 key 2 ref showing that this conversion is fair and people trade all father for keys:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9374859
but that shows that people trade all-father for metal as well. meaning the current price is fair and people trade all father for metal. Also since 6 ref is 1.5 keys, no need to convert it as putting your mouse over the price shows it in different currencies, and this would be like getting free rep. Not that it'll be accepted of course, You'd need to provide a lot more proof.
At a certain point you have to convert these prices to keys that's like saying 16 ref for a double cross comm it just becomes unreasonable. And im not 100% sure on this but that person probably just put 6 ref because that's what the price was on here, if price had been in keys I doubt they would go 1.5 keys or 6 ref
The reason double cross comm is dealt with in keys is because that's the currency people use when paying for it. For this it's dealt with in metal a lot, which is why the price is in metal. he put the price in ref because http://backpack.tf/vote/id/512b4cc54bd7b81175000010 in all his proof, people were selling them in ref not keys.
So your claiming that every item at 1.5 key price is paid in 6 ref or it just so happens that people love to pay in ref for a dirty all father and in keys for the clean.
You know that ur "technically" raising the price by 3 cents, right? But if you convert it, everytime the key price rises, so will the All-father. 1.5 keys is 6 ref now, but in a few days it will be 6.11. Then 6.22, 6.33, etc. You following me? As you can see, 1.5 keys is equal to 6.08 refined. Thats 6 ref plus a weapon.
Sir if you look up someone has already said this and I told him what im going to tell you if the clean price is being raised every time key prices go up why should the dirty stay them same?
Because the price of a clean item and the price of a dirty item dont necessarily follow each other. IE, brain bucket, buds, rescue ranger, etc.
In most cases the clean and dirty go up or down together though and All-Father is one of those cases. Only certain instances do clean and dirty not go up or down at same time
ewwwww dirty items :S
burn them all!
i prefer refined than 1.5 keys
It's better to list items in the currency they most commonly sell for.
Even when changing currency but not value, evidence is still needed to support a change
