Nobody buys for any higher than 1.44 ref.

Unsold for 1.55-1.66 ref: (current price indicates sales should happen with these prices)

Unsold for 1.33/1.44

Successful Sales at 1.33/1.44:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9214233 (1.44)

A bit lacking on sales proof (outpost does not show completed trades in the search, after all), but there's a significant number of sellers at 1.33 ref and even some at 1.44. These are the only prices people seem to buy for, so the 1.66 is going to have to fall off.

First unsold link has never been bumped.

Second is under a day old.

Third is under a day old and barely bumped.

Fourth is under a day old and barely bumped.

    And for your 1.33/1.44 unsolds:

    First link: 2 hours old

    Second link: 1 hour old

    Third link: 16 hours old

    Fourth link: Barely ever bumped

Fifth link: People in the comments willing to buy.

Sixth link: Only good one here c:

You need them to be unsold for longer times. I've sold several this week at 1.66 myself. Yes I may have just gotten lucky, but you'll need to prove that with better proof than this.

Newish trades that haven't been sold aren't necessarily a bad thing though. If there are no trades older than a day selling SBK Knives at 1.33, then it means that people snap them up quickly at 1.33. Nothing wrong with that. Actually the contrary, it means that there is a healthy market quickly buying and selling at 1.33.

Its the new trades that are at 1.66 as well. Your own statement about the market says that since they are new trades at 1.66 and 1.55, they sell easily at those prices.

When making suggestions to lower prices, you need to show that it is difficult to sell at the high end of the price. Difficulty selling is shown through it being unsold for long periods of time, usually 2 days or more. It must also be bumped recently.

        Also, my trades: http://tinypic.com/r/34t6gd0/6

        All priced at 1.66.

Fine then, here's some spaced-out sellers.

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9333623

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9169261

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9219269

here are a quick 3, each having been bumped and unsold for 1.66 for longer than 2 days.

          From a buyer's perspective:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8220596 (bought quite a few for 1 ref)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8637709 (Guy's bought a silver mk2 knife in the last week for a ref)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8303850 (oh, look who it is.)

Looking at the last 3, people are willingly selling them for 1 ref as well. Should we then lower the low end as well?

First link hasn't been bumped in almost a day.

Second link has an offer of S.Knife + .22 (Total of 1.55)

Third link has 2 offers of 1.44

            As for the buyers:

First link has none in his backpack (please correct me if I'm wrong about this)

Second link also has none in his backpack.

And yes, I do buy them for 1 ref, I've never hidden that fact. I've bought scatterguns and miniguns as well at that price, so what. Its called quickbuying. If you can find enough proof of them selling for 1 ref then yes go ahead and lower the low end too.

First link hasn't bumped in a day, but I don't see as to why that's a horrendous issue.

In second link, the guy offering S. Knife + 2 scraps does not actually own a strange knife.

Third link has 2 offers of 1.44? That does not prove anything for or against this, it just means they offered 1.44.

              As for the buyers:

First link does have one in his BP (page 6 bottom right)

Regardless, I'm having difficulties finding trades successfully making sales for 1.66, other then your own. I am, however, finding many sellers at 1.33-1.44, as well as a few buyers willingly paying those prices.

Not being bumped in a day usually shows that the OP does not bump it often, meaning that it hasn't had a fair chance on the market.

Second link he already bought a MK.II knife for that price.

And the 1.44 offers were just me making a note of it while I investigate further.

The only trades at 1.66 that I can find are fairly new or unbumped, so I'm just going to stay neutral for now and watch those. This suggestion may be accurate, but there isn't decent enough proof to show it.
