Though nice, this item has no reason to be the same price as its clean counterpart. Demand has lowered significantly.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9205076 selling for a "rec and a ref"
Absolutely no buyers whatsoever, and only a page of sellers.
The guy asking 1.33 refined for over a week cinches it.
you don't have any proof of people failing to sell it at 1.66
You can kind of assume that if they are selling it at 1.33, they tried and failed to sell at 1.66.
If your logic is accurate, no item would have an upper range.
no, the upper range would exist if people were at least attempting to sell at or above, with 5 proofs of people giving up on 1.66 and trying for 1.33 instead, i believe the upper range is unnecessary.
Where do any of them say they gave up on 1.66? It would be helpful if you included current open trades of people selling 1.66 without success?
There are more posts on outpost of people selling for 1.33 than there are for 1.66. This shows that it is easy to buy for less than 1.66 and unless the buyer cant look at more than 1 post they will get the lower price and no sales will occur at 1.66.
Also I am not the original sugester
* sell at 1.66
Fine. Here you go. The few people actually selling for 1.66. This is literally every seller on outpost, except for one guy selling at a set. Theyre recent, but its all i got. Again, absolutely no buyers.

Both links are not even a day old, so it makes sense that they haven't sold.
