I have sold maybe 2 in the last 5 days. If you're gonna include a 3 keys high end, then you should include a 2.5 keys low end since buyers' listings can get these at 2.5 as often as sellers can get 3 for them. Either that or a 2.75 keys flat price.

do you have any idea how scrap.tf work ? there is bot buying expanders for 2 keys each and stock now 17 which is mean the bot bought 17 at 2 keys each .

and if you searched in buyer trade i guess you'll find a lot less than 2.75 , i found samples just in the first page

Warehouse. Check it. I think they're 8 ref right now.... which I swore they were 10 ref a few days ago. There are FAR too many backpack expanders. Perhaps 2.5 keys - 3 keys is more accurate?

that is why scrap.tf has many bought at 2 keys.....

If this was a suggestion with a range of 2.5 to 3 or even 2 to 3 you would have my upvote but these obviously sell for below 2.75 still.

It has already been shown in previous comments above mine and no one with wits about them would overpay to this extent when they could easily sell keys to market for steam wallet funds and just buy from the mann co store.

According to the profit you would make by selling 3 keys on the community market, that would be the price it costs to buy a backpack expander from the store...

current lowest market key price 2.18

2.18 means 1.90 profit x 3 = 5.70

mann co. store cost of bp expander = 4.99

Yes, but the profit of 2.5 keys from marketplace is 4.75.

That means that the price of backpacks are $0.24 more than 2.5 keys.

Its not a lot, but it does indicate the price is higher than 2.5. Also bear in mind the key's profit is only 1.90, so the $.24 is a little significant

I just spend the last few weeks trying to buy 2 bp expanders at 2.5 keys each. After hours of searching over a large period, I found one trader who sold it for 2.5. I bought the other one quite quickly for 2.75, but there was only one trader offering it at that price. Having said that they had a few in stock.

I am inclined to agree with this price. I dont think spending a seriously long time searching for a trade for 2.5 means that is the real price.
