Maybe. The range includes the exeptions like 1-1.33 ref offers and higher :)

Because 2.33 plain would be to high, as there are sellers going lower.

And a range like 1.33 - 2.33 ref would be kinda awkward :/

Yes, but it still doesn't show 2 ref. as a part of the range, it just shows that the price is going down, only time it helps to price is if you suggest 1-2.33 or something.

And 2.11-2.33 isn't a strange range, I have seen more strange ones getting accepted.
