i know that 10 is max that u could get it bought for, but it is also easy to sell for 10

    R.I.P. English

It's not about offers, it's about for what they sold, Crate can still be bought at 10 keys easily and most sold for 12+.

And the one with no offers and unsold are from non premium users with 1 day of posting and 70 views.

Offers do matter in a way.

Look at it like this - If the highest offer any Crate 40 seller gets is only 9.5 keys, never has anyone gotten a higher offer from anyone at this point in time, that's a good indication that selling at 10 keys is difficult.

Of course, this is just a hypothetical situation and thus, you should not act like I just said "The highest offer any Crate 40 seller has gotten is 9.5 keys" and literally meant it.

Considering that most of sellers and buyers want profit, offer should not be considered in most of cases. If we guide the price of my unusual for the offers, it should be considered in 6-10 buds, while real price it's 10.6-11.6. Lowball offers definitely don't count.

Price will always depend on what the seller has agreed to sell, most of the offer are lowbals in Outpost.

True, but not all people who offer are low-ballers. Yes, a lot of them are, but there are a small amount of people who offer and are not lowballers.

But anyway, offers should be considered more heavily when trying to raise prices, rather than lower them. My argument was a bit flimsy now that I re-read it.

You're right, I was mostly talking about Lowball offers. And the argument about rising it's true

i had 1 crate 40 before the hype and from all this mess i have end up with 7

well out of all this situation some ppl panic and sell for even cheaper!!trust me

when it comes to salvaged crates take advantage of those moments they wont last for much...after summer you wont find it anyware near 12 keys :)

the hype was just an indicator what ppl is willing to offer, and thats enough for now.

strange sapper after all...its a must.

even if you could only uncrate strange sappers they wouldn`t stil be enough for all to have 1. :(

if there are rejected offers for 9.33 keys, highest price shouldn't be 9.5.

          downvote.

9-10 keys is good for now. but i expect them to rise (aka people buying from desperates that thing is going down and then hoarding them)

Thanks god I sold mine for 10 right before it dropped.

haha, it did not drop and it would continue to rice SLOWLY

                :D ^^^

It hit 10 keys then it dropped to this....... So I got one then sold it for 10 right before it fell.

                  It didn't dropped.

heh people misjudged the way these will rise.

The current rise in price is "hype". The kind of price that we want to get to is a price manifested "over time". People are rushing too much. Give it more time (around a few more months)

Second, an items worth is not solely based on rarity. Rather, it is based on how much people are willing to offer for it.

I say let it fall to hell for now (i own 2). Then, stock up and make some profit =)

                    :)

Just because sellers have trades up that are above quicksell price that aren't selling immediately doesn't mean that the backpack.tf price needs to drop, there's a reason that 10 keys is the higher range. 10 keys is doable (hell, I saw someone merching 40s who was buying them at 9 keys each), but since others are trying to panic liquidate 40s for whatever reason, patient buyers can find lower.

The "proof" system on this site is asinine. "Look, this trade is at the higher end of the market price and hasn't succeeded immediately! LET'S LOWER THE PRICE!!!!!!"

                      http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9486716 -trading a crate 40 for 1 BILLS HAT :O

dude, when they do net sell for 10, why would the price drop?

The current range suits the buying / selling range as of current. I've got a ton of the suckers that I'm holding onto.

Put a trade up for 10 to see interest now
