these strange widowmakers are becoming more and more rare as crate #40 is vanishing like crazy. Soon there will be next to none of these and the price should definitely go up.

Crate #40 and rare don't belong in the same sentence, it was circulated for an entire year. ~26,000 crate 40s, with nearly 10,000 S. Widowmakers going by stats.tf alone.
And with over 20 pages worth of listings on Outpost, it's by no means hard to obtain.

Yeah sure.
But as long as the demand doesn't increase, there is no particular reason to change the price just on purpose.
Suggestions without proofs are a problem.
As long as they are sold and bought for the actual range, nothing should be changed.

Yes, that's why I bought two of them for 2 keys each some days after the crate disappeared. I don't usually say this but I believe you are biased because you own one.
