Yes, first of all I know I have one. There's really no need to point that out. I'm not here to up the value of my inventory. I was just upset that there was no one selling within the current price range of backpack.tf. I've provided some examples of people's B/O's and C/O's. Before i show evidence, I'd also like to point out there are only 11 of these for sale right now. Now:

There are a lot of repeated offers by people who are looking for one and have posted their offer in several trades to optimize their chances (logically). So i did not post those.

Many people have high B/O's of 3.5+, which is why i will not recommended a price like 3.5 since they have not been sold at that price for all i know. However, there have consistently been offers of 3 Buds and 3+ in unusual/mixed offers. I really hope me owning one will not discourage you to consider my recommendation. It also seems the previous price was 2.6-3.2 buds which is considerably higher than my recommendation, meaning this should hopefully be a good and fair price. I keep the lower end at 2.3 mainly because there is still an unsold one on OP for 2.6. Most offers are in the area of 2.3-3. This is also my first Unusual recommendation :) so wish me luck!

I bought mine for 2 pure and 1 in mixed (items and keys)
Show us what previous hats have sold for.
Dig through the outpost profiles and item histories of the recent owners of each hat, and see what they sold for. Sale proof > offer proof.
Don't be afraid to add them to ask. The worst they can do is say no.
But i've already provided examples of many offers of 3+. That means the owner could take it anytime and get 3+. The fact that they dont should increase the price even more? I'll strive to find some more evidence
Link 1: Vivid Tower (highest offer) is 2.4 with overpay. Offer of 3 is invalid, as there is no proof of it. Possibly fake, therefore we can't accept it as fact.
Link 2 is good. An unusual offer of 2.8 that fell through, and a 3 bud offer. Even if neither was completed, it indicates that this could very well be the range.
Best offer from link 3 is ~2.3 buds (2 buds 10 keys) within a 1-month range.
Link 4: Disregarding the Pillar, which has been offered before, his best valid offer is 2 buds and 3 keys.
Link 5 C/O'd 2 buds. That shows he is willing to consider it; if 3 buds is his B/O it's possible he'd go for 2.6. I'll check on that.

From the looks of this, 2.4-2.9 is better. 2.4 in unusuals seems to be a trend - one third of the provided pieces of proof put the Jefe at 2.4 (vivid tower and knife goggles) and one has a rejected offer of 2.3 pure. 2.9 is because you bought for 2.9 mixed, there was an accepted 2.8 offer and an accepted 3 bud offer. The 3 bud offerer sold to you. Therefore, 2.9 should be the high.
Owner never specifies he wants overpay.

We are. It is a common practice to apply 10% overpay. This takes place in most accepted suggestions.

actually pillar range is 2,7-3,3 so i d say 2,7 as lowest price (actually I bet it s easy to quicksel it at that price). i m not sure maybe if he can show us c/o of 3 pure on that tower it would help a lot. there arent many offers of 2,7+ so one more would be great
Overpay, man. 2.7 marked down 10% is around 2.4.
You shouldn't mark down from the lowest range. If marking down 10%, do so from mid-range.
Just using low range tends to work well for accomodating overpay too.
Right...i have no idea what you just said and what it means.
I think .1 bud too low and .1 bud too high is fine for now. The suggestion has good proof and really isn't that far off, considering it does average to the same amount.
