I just unboxed this unusual and I wanted to find out the price and I saw that it was 1.4-1.8, but I was looking on outpost and there's only two people selling with buyouts of 3, if you look in the offer section. Now I know that doesn't justify a raise, but there are recent offers of 2 buds worth in each of those trades and were rejected by each seller. Here are the links:

Also the person that suggested the most recent offer for this unusual paid 2.5 for his and could not find a lower price.

Also i won't be selling the one that I unboxed, so I'm not trying to raise the price just for that purpose, I was just wondering how much they are worth and noticed these prices

The Ghost effect is actually part of the original effects, it is not one of the Halloween restricted effects

what supports 2.5 range? sure the 2 pure i can see, but bubbling flam+17 keys is only 2.1 buds.

Well i figure since the 2 bud offers were rejected that the range should be a little above that, and i mentioned that the person who made a previous suggestion paid 2.5 for his and couldn't find anything lower, so i figure the 2.5 was justified

hence called buyout. if people wanted to buy them they would be sold already.

but since they are still there people doesnt want to pay that price. they only wait for the desperate ones that do pay more than needed

Well I was only proving that this unusual actually sold for 2.5 and has offers of 2 that have been rejected by the only two that are on the market. As for the buyout I stated that they were looking for three which is the desperate selling price that you mentioned, I feel that 2-2.5 is a fair estimate

It's really hard to buy a rack with the old range, i know it because i like the rack (bought a burning one) i think that this is justified.

Alright i looked at the person who claimed they bought it for 2.5 and apparently it looks like they traded a steaming modest for the ghost rack valued at 2.3-2.6 on this site. I'm not sure if there was any sweets involved but i'll link the ghost rack page and the history of the person who bought it.
