Re-suggesting for a range.
Other suggestion: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51537b59ba25365e1100000b
Sellers:
Went on Outpost and found all sellers that weren't overpricing, selling as a set, selling a special leveled Pickel, or haven't been bumped in an unreasonable amount of time.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9566892 (1.5) Unsold for 2 days
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9563254 (backpack.tf prices) Apparently sold (according to Laggylaptop)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7855554 (offers) No offers for a month*
*The offers might've been for the other Pickel in the trade. Isn't specified.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8960282 (3 keys or offers) No offers for Pickel in 3 weeks
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9212644 (2 keys) Recently had an offer of 1 key + Gift Wrap
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9453524 (offers) Last offer was 3 days ago; offer was 4.77 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9606170 (1.5 keys) My trade. Managed to sell for 1.5 keys.
---Note: All sellers below this line haven't been bumped in one or two days---
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9442340 (backpack.tf prices) Unsold for 6 days
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9551675 (offers) Offer of Lumbricus Lid + 1 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9206399 (offers) Had an offer of Vintage Ze Goggles 6 days ago
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8768362 (offers) No offers for 3 weeks
Buyers:
Less than one page full of buyers and nearly all of them were either quickbuyers or swapping hats. Only found one buyer at the current price, but hasn't been bumped in 4 days:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9510156
Conclusion:
Pretty difficult to sell at 1.5 keys. No real buyers, just quickbuyers, but not a lot of them successful at 1 key (reminds me of my 70's Chapeau suggestion...). Hard to sell due to nobody wanting them, but waiting it out can net you 1.5 keys.
upvote good proof
shame to see these retired vintage hats go down though :(
they were already retired (vintage). i dont see why they went up
This is much better.
But I meant this one was sold: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9563254 Not the first one, sorry about that.
Oh, I missed that. I saw the first few numbers of the link were similar and assumed it was the right trade.
Thanks for pointing that out.
lol, Hugh Jazz made all the price on this item XD.
I'm sure he would've made a suggestion for this thing if I didn't.
Yes I would, yes I would...
1.5 keys may be slow, but you the second link managed to sell for that price, and one guy offered 5 ref and was rejected. I'm not seeing sales at 1 key...
That's the unfortunate conundrum I'm dealing with. 1.5 keys takes some time to sell, but I couldn't manage to find 1 key sales.
Went re-searching on Outpost and actually found a guy selling at 1 key: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9624188 Not saying this trade alone warrants a price drop, though, because it was last bumped 3 hours ago and he hasn't been online.
However, it has been unsold for a day and it should be watched because if 1 key doesn't belong in the price range, it should be gone pretty quickly.
It also doesn't help that a lot of sellers value their non-painted, non-special-level V Pickel at 3 keys (which I'm assuming is spreadsheet's price), so it makes finding sellers harder.
Slow at 1.5 keys? Sold mine within a few hours of posting at 2 -

What did I buy for? Well, I bought 40 vintages in bulk.
Then there's trades like this: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9489787
That haven't been sold for 6 days. It doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?
It does make sense. That guy doesn't bump his trade. He's online and yet his trade hasn't been bumped for 16 hours. At that rate he's only bumped it a few times in 6 days.
How about this trade? http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9624188
Been selling at 1 key for a day and still hasn't sold, plus he's been bumping regularly, more-or-less.
Same deal there. First of all, its still young (only a day old). Second, he doesn't autobump and last bump was >1 hr ago. Probably didn't bump while he was asleep overnight as well. We have no idea how many times he has really bumped it.
Even so, it's below the current market price, so I would've expected it to be sold pretty quickly. If he's trying to quicksell and it takes him a day to do it, that's not much of a quicksell.
But I suppose your point still stands that he's selling for only a key. Just seems to be a lot of variability in the pricing. The true range, to me, would be 1-2 keys.
Yes Good price Lowed
