People are offering upwards of 14 keys and sellers are looking for 15 and up.

Selling for 15 (both new trades):

16:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9634231 (also brand new)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9622416 (this one has an offer of 15 on it)

17 and not sold:

It seems like prices are dropping, but people are still really wanting these things. Some people have offered way more than the asking price of cheaper ones on more expensive trades, upwards of 17, but I think my range is pretty accurate.

Can you provide some proof of someone selling or offering theirs for 14 keys?

It's the low end. People are offering 14 and selling for 15.

You should still show some proof of that. Look up people trying to buy them, see what people are willing to sell them for.

          Buying for 14:

Buying for 15 keys in stranges:

Not to mention a lot of people buying for less than 14 on OP (http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/91976650)

neither 14's seem to be successful, which means originals are worth more than 14 keys

Just because it hasn't been bought yet doesn't automatically mean its an inaccurate price....is this what tf2 has come to

not automatically, but it sure as hell isn't proof of anything. is this what tf2 has come to?

The reason I put them there is to show the high end of what people are buying. I don't get how that's hard to understand. The 14 keys is the high end of what people are buying for and the 15 is the low end of what people are selling for. That's the easiest way to make a spread accurate. If people are selling for 15, you can buy them for 15. If people are buying for 14, you can sell them for 14. Make sense yet?

Yes, I understood your point the first time. My point is that the only proof you have provided to show that this item can be bought at 14 keys is a closed unsuccessful trade and a guy who is buying all crate 50 stranges at ~70% of the current price. Is that link proof that splendid screens are worth 4 keys and pdas are worth 13? Please try to sound less condescending in your response.

The closed trade closed after I posted the link, and the other trade recently changed his price on the Original. The lower end of my price is made entirely for the seller, so the value of his item won't be low-assed by buyers, whereas the high end is made so that sellers know what other sellers are wanting for theirs. To make this spread any higher or lower would be mental. What do you suggest we do with the price if not this? It's definitely not any higher than 15, since you can easily buy them for that price, and it's definitely not lower than 14, since people are buying them for 14 and offering 14 pretty readily. This might not be perfect, but I think it's the best we can do given the fact that this thing is still dropping like a rock.

Post trades at 14 keys, please. And by trades I mean trades that actually happened (bought or sold). Also, sellers at 14 keys would help.

Sorry but I just don't want to type out a whole rebuttal for an argument I'm already engaged in. If 14-15 seems unreasonable to you, nobody is stopping you from making a new suggestion. I just saw traders selling for 15 and buying for 14, and figured the price needed an update from its current utterly outlandish range.

According to your argument, it seems you think 15 keys flat is more accurate.

I don't think he is looking make a suggestion I think he wants more proof of your suggested range so it can get accepted or close this one a make a new suggestion based on what he says.
