the price people are willing to pay for these seems to be around 5-6 keys, proof:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9265320

has been open for 2 weeks

offers:

s.widow maker (1 week ago)

7 keys + 1 ref (the sellers price) buying said "could you keep one of the blood botkillers on hold ill get the keys soon" "i got the keys" selling said "Still want it?" and the buyer did not reply back

5 keys (5 days ago)

the price the seller wanted BUT, none of the scatters histories on the trade redirect to him

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9616836

has been open for 1 day and is most likely to be sold with a pink tough guy + a pink killers exclusive + a lime green duffel (around 3-4.5 keys in items) so the scatter is going to be sold for around 5-6.5 keys in items

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9422694

has been open for a week, the seller is wanting 7 keys

offers:

5 keys (1 week ago)

4 keys (5 days ago)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9230022

has been open for 2 weeks and wants nothing under 10 keys for it

offers:

3 keys (1 weeks ago)

6 keys (1week ago)

5 keys (5 days ago)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9561300

has been open for 3 days and wants 6.5 keys

offers:

6 keys (1 day ago)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9472367

has been open 6 days ago and wants 6 keys

offers:

5 keys (5 days ago)

5 keys (4 days ago)

5 keys and 2 ref (4 days ago)

5 keys 1 day ago (by me)

to it seems people are only generally around 5 - 6 keys, the cheapest one on outpost is for 6 keys and has almost been open for a week, implying that they are not too easy to be sold for 6 keys

A majority of those offering below 6 keys are trying to buy below the current low end for the sake of resell.

    Also I sold mine yesterday for 6 keys + a Veil. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9061310

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9265320 He sold one for 7.25 keys almost 3 days ago. Has had 2 other buyers in the past week or two at that price. Even if he didn't sell one, unsuccessful at 7.25 doesn't mean people can't get 6.5.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9616836 He got a white Bills for it and what equals to about 2.5 keys in sweets. Even if you were to value a white Bills at 9.5 keys that still equals 7 keys in value for the Blood Scattergun.

      http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9422694 Unsold at 7 =/= unsalable at 6.5

      http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9230022 Unsold at 10 =/= unsalable at 6.5

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9472367 Had a buyer at 6 and sold for 6 to another user.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9561300 No longer in their inventory.

You was ahead of me in few minutes :) I tried to provide some counterproof too

And the first seller - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9265320 sold one to this guy http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/226541 (his offer in the trade, one scatter from the seller in his BP)

yeah but theres still no proof of it being sold, even if the scatters arent in his backpack anymore, he could have sold them in another deal.

good point but it was sold for items not keys remember.

how do you know http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9472367 was sold for 6 keys?

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9561300 yes not in inventory but i still dont think that proof of it being actually sold for the sellers price, if thats what you are implying

Because if you bothered to look, all 6 keys in his inventory were owned by the current owner of the weapon.

As for the one that's no longer in his inventory. It shouldn't be used as sold or unsold proof because it has sold but due to incomplete bp history there is no evidence of what he sold it for.

tf2items.com is very annoying for me to use so i tend not to use it and still dont think thats direct proof. and i agree with you about it being proof

You can use outpost's backpack viewer - just click on the item to see it's history

yes a lot of them may be doing that, but still thats the general price people are offering and yes you did sell it for that but after almost a week of trying

Ah, you are the person who tried to lowball it my old trade :)

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9410642

Anyway, you shouldn't reduce a price just based on lowballs offers. I don't see any proof of successful deals at 5.5 keys. Also, it took me a day to sell 2 scatters at 6.5 each (proof in the previous suggestion).

And your last proof already sold btw, so you simply can't find it cheaper than 6.5 keys in the market right now.

true you cant generally buy one for under 6.5 right now, but that doesnt mean the price should be what the sellers are trying to sell them for, the price should be what the majority of people are actually willing to pay just like with any item

But it's not only unsold buyouts

              As Duscoda noticed

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9265320 - sold one for 7.25

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9061310 - sold for 6 + a Veil

It's only in the few last days. I guess the current range is good, you just trying to manipulate the price to get it cheaper. And you didn't provide any proof of successful deals at 5.5

them trades took a long time to sell them though, i am not trying to manipulate the price to get it cheaper, and i dont need to provide proof of them being sold for 5.5 keys, i need to provide proof that the majority of people are not willing to spend 6-6.5 keys on them

Actually you should provide a proof of deals at 5.5 keys. By example - I can with 3 another people offer 10 keys for an earbuds in every trade in the outpost - and the price should be 10-27 keys just because somebody wants to lowball? May be most of people who offers 5-5.5 keys on blood scatters just wants to resell it for 6-6.5? Anyway, it's only opinions, you didn't provide a proof to support the low-end of your range, but a counter-proof was provided. All is simple, nothing to discuss here.

no, i said the majority who offer, the majority who offer for earbuds do not offer 10 keys, the majority offer 27 keys, i think i did provide proof

Just because a lot of people offer 5-5.5 doesn't mean they are getting them for that price.

for example if there were 10 sf miniguns on the market and 9 of them were selling them for 2 buds each and people were only offering 1 bud each, does that mean the price should be 2 buds or 1 bud?

Unless someone sold it for 1 bud it wouldn't be 1 bud and unless someone paid 2 buds it wouldn't be 2 buds. You are putting too much value into offers that nobody is accepting and not enough into the ones that have actually sold for or above the current price.

if there were 9 trying to be sold for 2 buds and nobody was buying them and people were only offering 1 bud i think the price should be 1 bud, so what would you price it at then?

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9091668 - 5 keys + 3 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9265320 - sold one of them

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9241524 - sold for 6

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9230022 - rejected 6

              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9388242 - buying a lvl7 one for 8 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9472367 - sold for 6 (check bp, has 6 keys from buyer)

None sold for 5.5, one slightly lower than 6 keys, but two for 6 and one rejected 6 offer, plus one sold at 7. I think 5.5 is slightly low at this time.

That 5 keys + 3 ref was 3 weeks ago, when the price was 5-6 keys, a bit outdated proof as for me

I included it as a low sale price. Balancing it with the 7 key sale, both of the outliers can be disregarded, leaving a few sales at 6.
