3. Classifieds :

http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/5068/6/40 , one for sale at 7.5 , 2 for sale at 7.75 and one for 33 ref 7.7 keys

hehehehehe nice work i will love to see this under 6 keys!

He has a good proof, but that's just cruel. Unless the price is ACTUALLY under 6 keys, it won't go there.

      1. The market price check is terribly bad. You either go with the market prices or not.

The chepest EU price for the crate is 13.34E (only 4 more below 14E price mark), while the keys on the market go for 1.65E right now. You buy crate or keys, either way you pay the equivalent of 8-8.5 keys.

      2. If buyer trades would be the indicator of prices we'd have buds at 25-26 and bill's hat at 7.

      3. Only 3 out of ~60 crates in classified and these are 7.5-7.75

      4. Your 7 keys sellers (lol, 2 trades out of 20 pages at op) are no longer for grab - if something sells so quickly that means it's under the current market value.

I see no valid proof for 7 keys.

Using the steam market as an indicator of the market? Yeah, no. People selling stuff on the steam market are just looking to quickly liquidate TF2 items for game money.

You provided only a few TF2OP links and they are clearly the exception.

All the classifieds you point to don't even go below 7.5.

        Downvote downvote downvote.

As a note, I'd highly recommend avoiding Steam Market for proof. While it shows people selling at "7-7.5 keys," it also counter-proves it by showing people buying at "8-8.5 keys." See, in order to buy a salvaged crate at say $17, one would have to sell the equivalent of 8.5 keys (~$2 per key).

Observing the price in this manner doesn't really support your suggestion, however, if they were selling significantly lower than the current price, the steam market would be a valid indicator.

Upvoted i dont even know why this went up like those retired hats..

            Hype my friend, hype.

This Salvaged crate #40 went up because it is no longer obtainable meaning its not gonna drop since Salvaged Crate #50 came out.

to improve this, can u put some buyers and sellers @ 8 keys cuz most of ur proof r 7k...overall it's ok for now but u will need more proof

I love how its going back down to what it was before all the "hype"

I love how I got flamed and called scammer when I tried to buy them for 6 keys after the retirement. I knew these would be dropping again

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9248787

Because you're such a nice, kind, considerate trader.

http://i.imgur.com/0q5PKGD.png <-Compilation of you being an asshole

                    /sarcasm

Wow, you actually took time to make a screenshot and edit it. Nice selective screenshot you got there.

My 2nd line was against someone who flamed me in same way. Its nice that you cut his comment out.

First user was just being a ass telling scrap.tf pays more.

The 3rd user accused me being a shark.

They deserve to be treated like shit. Haters gonna hate

"Took time" as in 3 minutes, less even.

First cap, telling people there's better deals never even accuses you of anything.

Second, yes I did edit it, regardless you should have just hid his reply. That's called being mature.

Third, telling people there's an easy better deal at scrap.tf, was he being an ass? Doesn't seem like it to me, but then again I'm more interested in people getting a fair price then underbuying everything.

Those comments ruin my trade. Oh if you dont mind the spam, I will link on each of your trades a better deal. Also you don't have to tell me what I have to do. I couldn't care less about your opinion

To normal guys I act polite for people who annoy me I act the same way back.

'but then again I'm more interested in people getting a fair price then underbuying everything.'

                          Ahahaha http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9552256

Overprices shit while tons here are cheaper, fair price my ass

                          Hypocrite first class

                            "Last bumped 17 hours ago"

I'm sorry I don't keep up to date on prices 24/7. When I threw up that trade they were still around 10 keys iirc, not to mention I haven't exactly been active doing nothing but bumping when I can.

I still believe that it is important to be at least mature when you're trading.

Have a nice day, I'm done trying to talk to you. I wish you the best of luck in all your trades.

reported all his harsh comments on outpost also i personally belive it shouldnt be 7 keys

                  More proof for ya.

                  Sellers:

http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9287891 - "selling this crap for 6 keys" lol

                  http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9292083 - 7.5 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9628865 - 7.75 keys (he bought it from another seller but unclear what he paid for it)

Bought and sold one for 7 keys in each trade, and it seemed even then a bit of a push. Upvote on my part.

                      7 keys?

                      nah

Great proof, and a polished suggestion. Upvoted.

again, i want to see some 8 key sellers or buyers

Got rid of my crates. Thought they would rise, but no. Upvote!

Upvote! Keep pushing down the price. Every time it drops here, sellers drop prices over on outpost which gives more proof to drop it here again. Eventually I'd like ya'll to push it down enough for me to buy em for a key each so I can stuff a backpack and then just wait a year or so.

Upvoted, if they keep falling in price i can get more!

I didn't look at the proof much. But I'm just going to say that the actual price of an item and the price in the community market can be different by a great amount.

Haha you guys are ridiculous. People LOVE to lower the price of these crates for no reason. Smh

actually, we lower it because people aren't willing to pay 8 keys for it.

EDIT: Oh wait, this guy is aceofthecrate and he own 98 salvaged crates.

                                      SMH

all of those seven key sellers sold their crates....wonder why :p oh thats right, i bought them xD thx for the great links!

i don't know whether you're very very dumb or very clever. haven't you heard of not putting all your eggs in one basket?

                                          check this out bro: http://www.tf2pricecheck.net/Thread-PC-Mann-Co-Supply-Crate-30

                                          history tends to repeat itself

well ask yourself what was in crate 30 and what is in crate 40. besides the sapper and the huntsman everything else is absolute rubbish. even if this does appreciate eventually it won't be that fast and you'll probably need to keep it for 1 year before there is significant profit. trust me your investment could be better utilised elsewhere.

Unless the second time there's about 5 times more of them, then probably no.

Sold one for 8 then bought another for 7 in less than an hour. This seems fair.

So much for "rising". By next week it'll be worth the same as it was before it stopped dropping >_>

                                              I got offered 7.75 keys

                                              http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9590764

Using the steam market as proof, nope. People selling stuff on the steam market are just looking to quickly sell there tf2 items so that they can buy games.
