I think he wanted you to either provide less proof or not lower the price as much (so you'd be modest).

I am going to stay neutral on this one for now, but as the old adage goes: "Selling != Sold"
Lowering price...the adage selling != sold just proves my point further. 3 days unsold at 2 keys actually very much supports this suggestion.
