I have no idea why the previous post was to lower the price. At that time I used to own the hat. It's 1 of 1 on market, so it's hard to decide a price for it. But I've sold mine for 1 Buds+ 128 Euro's. That's about 4 Buds in money. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8867176 this is my old trade. I didn't even accept a Flaming Lantern Private Eye for it, because I knew I could get more. And it seems I could. The Private Eye is valued at 4-5 Buds. I'm guessing the last suggestion just got accepted because he has a ton of unusuals and therefore must know the price of every unusual. Yet again: the rich get richer.
How would he get richer from raising the price of an unusual he doesn't own?
Because I offered the Unusual on his Unusuals. And he got pretty mad by me doing that. He wanted me to add. But I didn't.
So he got richer because you offered him something and ended up not going through with the trade?

I've had it for a short time, so no. But if I can get an offer so fast, I think that should be enough.

Flaming private eye is ~4 pure too. So no offer above 4 and you suggest 4.5-5?
Private Eye is suggested at 4.5. I don't really know why he put his B/O at 4 when I've sold it for more to him really...
The last suggestion was accepted because he showed proof of offers in the 3.5 range, and that you bought it for a lantern lid (3.5-4). His suggested price at the time was 3.5-4, which got slightly reduced due to conversion issues with prices of keys and such.
I don't know how you managed to sell for about 5 buds, but you probably got lucky. Recent BOs have all been 4. Lantern private eye, after accounting for overpay, is just about 4 pure as well.
