Been trying to find a description tag at 1.33 for the past few days, but I think we need a update to the price to reflect the inflation of keys / deflation of metal. (OMG CONTROVERSIAL)

In my previous suggestion, a few people werent happy with 1.66 - 2 ref and suggested a flat 1.66, since name tags arnt really on par with description tags.

Go on a trade server man I get those for 1-1.33 ref and most even for a craft hat !

proof is based on outpost. anything goes on servers. i went through the first 5 pages and only found 1 person who sold at 1.33 a day ago, and that was the lowest it got.

This way backpack.tf only ends up making faulty prices and eventually reflecting on itself seeing that trade servers reflect on backpack.tf which reflects on outpost and trade servers =/= outpost .

I believe this is supposed to globe the entire trading economy not just some website a guy made to help out traders and if it was only based on outpost then why are screenshots of trades made allowed as proof if they could have been done on a trade server ?

Oh and I pretty much only meant to answer what you first said that was that you had a hard time finding a desc. tag for 1.33

To be honest I have nothing but this one here I happened to get last week :

I mostly trade name tags and with many new traders getting these drops while f2p it isn't really very hard to get one for cheaper than normal , and even with regular traders I rarely have to pay 2 ref for a name tag so I figured going for less than normal would apply the same to description tags .

It's like new traders selling salvaged crates just for ''a quick buck'' contributing to deflations .

even though they put that price, it won't set the value of the item

im sure you can find some for 1.33, they are overpriced loads, the same with nametag

people are buying at this price and above, and rejecting offers below it

I buy desc tags for 1.44, and i've ~3 adds a week

going through sellers' posts will usually mean you're paying the top end of market price. try putting up your own trade. if it doesn't work after a week then come back and resuggest.

1 day is barely enough time. or if you really want it then i suggest you go for 1.44 which is slightly above what most people are buying for. you don't have to always go in increments of 0.33.

top end for this is 2 ref so i do think that 1.66 should be a new norm for this. i tried to provide proof so lets just see what people think mang

if it helps, it took me less than an hour to sell one that i got as a random drop at 1.66.

Gonna have to disagree on this one - they sell for 1.72 ref on Steam Market and although there aren't a lot of people buying it (a couple per day) it's not that difficult to sell either.

It's very easy to buy at 1.33 and sell for 1.66, I don't see a point of moving the current price, it's pretty stable.

Also you posted my trade saying it's selling for 1.88 which is actually 1.77 and I will never accept desc+name for 1key.(just saying that for you to edit)

I am guessing a downvote from me since I am buying (I've also seen more people who restock buy for 1.33 - lowballers go for 1-0.66ref[and fail] lolwut) lots for 1.33 each(unless someone has more than 3 and I buy for 1.44 ea)

Edit: I do not really think that the price of keys should affect directly to tags prices, I don't see any of us in the future getting one tag for 3ref each since keys will be 6ref eventually( I hope not :S ).

Tags are also obtained in drops which should not make the price go any high because there are LOTS of idlers with bots and people with more than 20 accounts. It's a free/paid item unlike keys.
