Suggestion: Earbuds at 26 keys

Notes: I was meant to suggest it to be between 25.5 - 26 keys but because there are still a few people who buy keys for 26.5 or above and also because some actually succeed in buying it for 25 keys, I decided to make it 26 keys instead.

Also, this is my first suggestion ever. I don't mind if you say rude things about me because I think I am really bad at this.

26 keys is in the range, so u have no proof actually.

As u want to fix the price at 26key, u need to show us that bud are not sold at 27 keys anymore.

I easily buy buds for 26, and can sell for 27 with only a couple bumps, so the price range is fine, don't mess it up. Find more proof of failed sellers, and maybe.

So yeah, showing open trades and saying that they're unsold because they're open is just nonsense.

Also among the other "no one buy" links that you've posted, the sellers actually removed some of the items, suggesting that they did in fact sell some of them.

I cannot say how honest 25 keys buyers are but I am having trouble buying them at 26 keys, They do sell at 26 keys but only a very very very limited amount per day. The current range is accurate as if now.

If it is at 26.4, that means a little less than half the trades happen at 27 keys, the rest at 26.

TF2Finance is the main deciding factor in any currency suggestion, so it is very relevant here.

Have to agree with Simon. Although I am inclined to believe that backpack should just use finances numbers for this and keys. Would save everyone a lot of trouble.

That has been discussed before. It is taken into strong consideration, but not used completely because it still can be wrong, BASE64 said that using it as the sole proof would be a bad idea just because i could be wrong / manipulated.

If you mean show links where people are having trouble selling buds for 27 keys, that's what I'm doing now. Except the problem is, no one is really selling it for 27 keys atm so its kinda hard...

Look at the date, it was a month ago, he said 23 and he was probably kidding considering his offer is lower than the price he's buying at, and the trade is open for two months.

Most of the people sell them for 26.5 keys or 26 keys in tf2outpost compared to 2 weeks ago where people sell them for 27 keys or 26.5. The reason why I didn't want to suggest this to be 26.5 keys is because there are actually still a few people selling buds for less than 26 keys.

Also, people change their prices over time.

It can take a few days to sell buds for pure keys since they are a high price item. I assume you knew that already though. Btw, the 1 week old trade you posted turned down a 27 key offer. Since that trade was the only one up for any legitimate amount of time(and turned down 27 keys), that would indicate that the 4 "proofs" you posted do not "prove" anything. Sorry, please come again. :)

You are selecting only the proof that will support your suggestion and not all the proof that is available. Maybe it will hit 26 flat, but it's not there yet.

You shouldn't judge a one time viewing of finance. It's changes all the time (ie; 26.39 as of this posting).

I know, but it seems to hover around there. There are enough sales at 27 that it doesn't need to be lowered. Even if it were constantly at 26.25 then that would only be sufficient to drop it to 26 - 26.5 imo.

I understand that a one-time viewing isn't accurate, but look at the graph. Since earbuds have been lowered to 26-27, there has only been one hour where there was a dip at/below 26.25. It has a somewhat steady median of about 26.4, which shows that a good amount are being sold above 26 keys still.

What I'm trying to say is that you can't just look at the site once regardless of what you look at the graph, the number. Because, as of now, it's at 26.25. You have to constantly monitor the site, not just look at it once.

I think the range now is perfectly fine. It lets people buy buds at 26 keys for people that are trying to sell their quickly and 27 keys for people that are not in a hurry to sell. I personally sold 2 pairs of buds yesturday at 27 keys Each.

I've had to search around a bit to buy buds at 26 keys, and I've been successful. However, I've also been successful multiple times in the last week selling at 27 keys. The range is fine where it is for now.

this is post is the reason why .tf is ruining trading. People claim the items arent sold, most people on outpost dont say they are buying, they just add you.

How do you know if an item was sold? What if i had 100 buds for sale and sold every one. then i sell 99 of them . you look in my bp and see 1 bud. so you assume i didnt sell my buds.

While this post has easily been shut down, imagine how many other posts have successfully lowered prices based on assumptions and not real data.

I just cast the thousandth vote, and I'm sorry to say it was a red one. I see them selling at 27 quite often, so that's in-range, but 26 isn't out either. There's not much of a need for this to be lowered so long as both ends of the range still sell for their respective prices.

I think the other suggestion is more accurate. Tf2finance has stayed strictly above 26.20, and it's been sort of hovering around 26.35 today.
