The price needs to come down. Many going unsold at 3 and a few going unsold at 2.5; even some going unsold at 2.2 http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/Mantreads

im not sure if many people actually use classifieds, i dont.

People use classifieds. there are more then 5000 items for sale.

people list thing in there - but i'm not sure how many of those turn into sales through the classifieds rather than through outpost/bazaar

i've listed many times and not once has a sale come through my classified

Thats just dumb. Plenty of traffic through Classifieds is successful, the difference is that people on here TEND to be smarter about prices since they're at the source anyway. They're generally well informed buyers so they ignore high prices.

How much trade occurs in servers with only 32 people, nevermind a site like this which has 5k+ items and thousands of viewers for those items.

the classifieds are great, i sold 2 strange eyelanders, and an exorcizor in 2 hours on them. also i agree, even if the proofs were better, they are showing that they are not wanted even as low as 2 keys and should be lowered further... gonna have to downvote here

true, i openned a trade buying for 2 key + 2 ref got tons of adds, figured i should lower my buying price, changed it to 2 keys and still had like 3 adds one person even said if i bougth the 3 he had it would only cost me 5 keys. so i lowered again my price to 1 key + 3 ref still no bites :(

oh and its impossible to sell for 3 keys, i tried had to settle for 2 keys + a honchos headgear

no matter what people say about crate 40 this shits aint going up in the near future

Makes me wonder why OP didn't just stick it with 2-2.5.

I believed that that was perhaps too big a jump for now and significantly decreasing the value in one move would not benefit traders shift their stock at all, so I may update this in a few days time to 2-2.5 depending on how the market looks. Was was also little proof of them going for 2 keys until I got the extra proof and chat in this suggestion.

I sold my pair for 2 keys + 2 ref after looking awhile for a buyer willing to spend more than 2 keys. I looked at this ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9705094 ) and you can see the buyer of my S Mantreads trying to sell the pair to someone else for what he paid me.

Downward price pressure for sure. Sell this at 2 keys before its common to find them at 1.

been there pal, almost impossible to sell at 2.5 keys and so easy to get for 2 if you wait a day or two, with much better stranges at the price of 2- 3 (dead ringer shotgun degreaser etc)keys most people dont want to spend the now precious keys in a now deemed collector strange, because lets face it almost nobody actually uses this seriously.
