You need to show proof of this being sold at this range at all.

Try also getting unsold proofs that have been bumped in the last 24 hours and are at least a day old.

    Downvote for now.

Also the crafting tf2 value doesn't matter in this case.

    Hope this helped.

thanks, i'm new to this suggestion thing, but i think i did show a few day-old proofs

You did. Try some recent ones and don't worry once you get the hang of it you'll be golden. You showed effort which is a start.

      1: 2 days not bumped

2: 3 days not bumped asking 1 key

3: 3 days not bumped lowballer offer

4: 4 days not bumped same lowballer and 3.66 was from the seller

      5: bumped 21 hours ago

      6: bumped 1 day ago

All together that proof is crap.

        Selling:

Link 1 - An outlier trade for sure!

        Unsold:

        Link 1 - 3.66; 4 days old, hasn't been bumped since.

Link 2 - click on the first Fez. It appears that it belongs in another person's backpack, implying that the seller sold one in the span of the 4 days that he had his trade up.

        Link 3 - "bp.tf price"; only 22 hours old

        Link 4 - only 22 hours old

        Link 5 - only 1 day old

EDIT to respond to more links

Link 6 - we shall see! Only 12 hours old!

Link 7 - still only 1 day old

        Link 8 - 2 days old, a little better

        Link 9 - 4 days old, okay

Link 10 - only 1 day old, last bumped 8 hours ago.

Link 11 - 1 week old, last bumped 11 hours ago.

Link 12 - 1 day old, last bumped 11 hours ago.

        Link 13 - 1 day old, B/O of 4.00, last bumped 16 hours ago.

Link 14 - 1 day old, last bumped 22 hours ago.

Link 15 - 5 days old, last bumped 1 day ago

Link 16 - 3 days old, last bumped 1 day ago

Link 17 - "bp.tf prices", 1 day old; last bumped 1 day ago

Link 18 - 3 days old, hasn't been bumped since

        Link 19 - "bp.tf prices", 4 days old, hasn't been bumped since

Link 20 - 4 days old, hasn't been bumped since

While I'm not suggesting that the current price is accurate, you'll need trades that are older than 1 day to be convincing.

EDIT: While I'm still not particularly convinced due to the large amount of new links, the evidence provided is a little better relative to before.

EDIT 2: Proof is more convincing now, but you'll want to be careful about trades that haven't been bumped very often. A lot of the links were only 1 day old and were last bumped only a couple of hours after trade creation.

EDIT 3: After reviewing all of the evidence provided, I conclude that most of it is either relatively new, or unbumped. I have bolded the trades that you have listed that I feel provide the best evidence towards this price change. That being said though, it remains clear that evidence MUST be provided of successful 3.88 sales. I'll look through Outpost to see what I can find.

I wasn't done finding links. You'll see more now, but I'm still not yet.

I hear you, I'll continue to update my comments as more stuff's added.

Done. You should probably relabel the link numbers in your first comment.

Updated comment! Ultimately, it seems plausible that 4.00 is an outdated price, but I would like to see successful sales at 3.88. After all, proving that the current price is old is just half the battle! I'll look through Outpost and see what I can find.

Unfortunately, many of the even older links were trying to sell for 1 key or more. I simply went for completeness. Do you just mean to comment on every link, or do your comments mean you have a problem with them? I know you seem to dislike the young/ day old ones, but you also commended on the older ones. Regardless, depending on how long this stays up, even those day olds will become 2 or even 3.

Whenever I comment on evidence, generally what I look for is whether it is convincing as a whole. In regards to your points, relatively new unsold trades usually don't demonstrate that a price is outdated, because items take time to sell. Likewise, older, unbumped trades usually mean that the seller simply didn't get the exposure needed to sell the item, and aren't indicative of current market trends. You say those day-olds will become two or three, but neither you nor I can predict the future. Maybe they'll sell? Who knows? :P

Long story short, successful, recent trades (both buyers and sellers) are the way to go; offers can be used to back up claims as well.

Anyway, I just like debating on prices. :P Don't read too much into the length of my response. Look into my backpack and you can see that I don't have one, so I have no vested interest in the price of this. XD

        Nearly all unbumped trades.

          the new ones aren't...

saw it, sorry. I got that thing dropped and sold it for a key quite fast. There is so huge supply, maybe more poeple got it. As i said last time, dropped ones will sell faster than crafted ones. But that won`t be considered i think

None of your links show the proof of why it should be 3.88. Most of your links show people selling for 4 Ref which is currently what its worth right now.
