Not bought
Weird way of posting the proof in my opinion. I would say "[Link here] - 1.66. Not bought for [amount of days here]." as an example. Also, pressing Edit and then Save gets rid of the spacing. Proof looks good, so I'll upvote.
Sorry about that. First time posting one of these.
Two of the trades in buyers were closed and both of the buyers have strange jags. However, by the looks of it, I do not think they bought for 1.66 since their trades had no comments and few views, so I think they searched for people selling jags. Further, both of their trades were open for 2 days, so even if they bought for 1.66 that is long time. Plus, further proof was added for people selling jags rather quickly for 2.33, thanks to gamemaster1494, which easily counters the few 1.66 sales. Keep upvoting :D

Some counterproof was shown for 1.66, and the suggesters proof showed that 2 is not a fast sell. Don't really see a problem with current range.
Eh. I've found it very hard to buy for 1.66. It took me an hour or more of searching to find only one and buy it for that price. Very easy to find and buy for 1.88 or 2 ref. And I've seen people selling for 2.33 as well.
One hour to find an item isn't hard at all
I forget how long it took exactly, but an hour is a long time in tf2 trade, especially if I am going through every single sale of a jag and only find one for sale for 1.66.
If it takes an hour to buy one item at the lower end of its range, that's not a very long time at all.
If it takes you three days, however....
I'm just saying that I could only find 1 out of ALL of the open trades when I was searching a few days ago (and I kept checking throughout the day). And compared to that 1, I found a few jags being sold and bought for 2.33. But yes 3 days to find lower end should mean a price increase. Time is relative :)
No, you misunderstood what I meant, or maybe I misunderstood what you meant.
If it takes you one hour to buy an item at the lower end of its price range, it's not a very long time, but if it takes 3 days to buy at the lower end then yes, the price might need a bump up.
I'm not surprised you didn't find a lot of sellers at the lower end of the range because sellers almost always try to get the most out of what they have. If I have a hat worth 1.33-1.66 and I know I can get 1.66 out of it, why would I sell it for 1.33? Same goes with the Jag - why would sellers sell at 1.66 if they know they can get 2?
I understood you and you kind of proved my point. "Same goes with the Jag - why would sellers sell at 1.66 if they know they can get 2?" Then why does it have the range if pretty much all sellers (like 98%) are selling at 1.88-2+? Lol.
Because people can still easily obtain them at 1.66 ref. Prove that you can't get at that range by showing buyers who haven't gotten one in a long time.
What do you consider a long time?
At least 4-5 days.
The thing with that is many people just give up and end their trades after 2-3 days. I know some of the trades I've posted are 2-4.
Oh and I was searching for a while (probably more than an hour, I quickly estimated). I just know I went through all of the jag trades several times throughout the day when I wanted one a little while ago.
The thing is, the range is there because you can get it for 1.66 if you look a little. Every single seller always puts their stuff at the high end of the range. As do buyers look for the lower end, or even less.
Sure people will be buying for 1.66 but if it is a tiny amount compared to those selling and readily buying for 1.88, 2 and even some 2.33 does it deserve to have that range?

Sold mine at 2.33 basically instantly. Was surprised due to it being above current price.
Great proof, upvoted.
Sold one for 2 ref pretty fast, upvote.
