Introduction:
Cancerous effect, cancerous hat. Current price is 18-22 keys (inaccurate).
Principles:
All unusual and item offers were multiplied by 0.85 to get clean value.
Trades:
1) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8412679 1 month no B/O
a) “N&B Glengarry Bonnet + 6 keys for the Flies Capotain” (12-13keys + 6 keys) -> 17 keys
b) “10 keys” (lol)
2) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3955117 5 month(!) no B/O
a) “Nuts jeepcap” by jamstr0n (17-20keys) -> 16keys
b) “lime bmoc by Oki” ->12.5 keys
c) “Gifted peace sign Mirror” (12 keys) -> 10 keys
d) “Blizz mongolion+all father” (14-17 + 2 keys) -> 15 keys
e) 15 keys offers
3) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8324221 2 month, 24 keys B/O
a) “Nuts jeepcap” by jamstr0n (only one offer) (17-20keys) -> 16keys
4) New one….
Conclusion:
Countless 15 keys offers, low interest in the current price range. Best offer I have found is Bubbling Panama (also cancerous, in addition outdated price!). This panama offer I put as high-end, so it is 18-23 keys -> 17.5 keys.
Finally, the price range is 15-18. Thanks for reading!
That ''cancerous effect'' gave me cancer.
I am so sorry:'(
Prices are based on sales, not offers.
Then why is the vintage earbud price based on one v. earbud that hasn't even left the owner's backpack? Is it an exception?
Offers were higher than current price and to quote the moderator who closed that suggestion: "Until Brad changes policy (changes how duped rare vintages are dealt with) Price stays clean."
Now stay relevant to the topic at hand.
Nice copypast. Prices are based on both sales and offers. If a hat has small interest(no interest in current price range), price should go down. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to adjust any price to "rare" items, unless you are the owner.
*current owner or sold it recently
Prices can only be based on offers when you are raising a price. You cannot base a price on offers when you intend to lower the value of an item. In order to lower the value of an item you need to show proof of lower buyouts or sales below current price. You have no proof of 15 key sales, yet you have a lot of rejected 15 key or 15+ key item offers. You cannot tell if there have not been sales for higher or lower because at the time you suggested it the only ones you could find were unsold because that's how outpost works. How do you know it has not sold for more? How do you know it has sold for less?
Let's wait for any flies capotain's owner. Maybe he/she will show some counterproof.
I doubt it. Most unusual owners do not come to backpack.tf and if they do, then they do not check the voting. Most think backpack.tf inhibits their ability to turn a profit or that backpack.tf lowballs the price of their unusual.
true... anyway 2nd link reflects value of the hat. 5 months is enough even for unusuals.
please check 2nd and 3rd links(current owners) wtf?? gonna close it
Edit: Not gonna close it:D
2nd link is atleast 7 month old(look at first offer) =D
Holy ####
:D
2nd and 3rd link is the same hat. 7 month(!!!!!) unsold in the current range. proof enough
