Disclaimer: I don't own this hat and none of my friends does. I just noticed that these are fetching higher offers than what its estimated price suggests.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9851966 received 3 pure offer 1 hour after being put up for sale. Seller has put B/O at 4 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9711033 Received a flaming lanter guadalajara offer which, based on backpack.tf price, is worth approx 4.7 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8039281 Purple energy stovepipe offer, which is worth 3.5 buds, rejected.
In a nutshell, the three vivid samur-eye's which are being sold have received offers varying from 3 pure to 3.5 I.U to 4.7 I.U within the last two weeks so I think the price should be raised.
flaming lantern is 4.1 buds w/unusual overpay. but yeah upvote
Forgot about the unusual overpay thing, but it's still well within the price range. Anyways thanks :]
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9824516 - this one sold today for 2.7-3 buds in unusual when considering unusual overpay
And the guy who bought it just sold it for just above 3 buds in unusual.(When considering overpay) He offered it here - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9824871
But the same one got a 3 pure offer today
Yea i know. But i just wanted to point out the most recent of sales. Which were at the low end. Its looking like its more 2.8-3.5 or 3-3.5
The stove pipe considering unusual overpay is 3.3 offer.
Only the flaming guad is the reason why the higher end makes sense. It could be that the guy is fine with overpaying.
The low end shouldn't be put below 3 buds because one of them got sold insanely fast for 3 I.U. As said, the fact that the very same hat got offered 3 buds few hours later proves this.
Also you're saying that the "overpaying of lanter guadalajara" is the only reason why the value should be raised. In my opinion the sheer fact that they're receiving several better offers than what the current estimate suggests just simply means that it's current estimate should be raised.
What I'm trying to say here that the whole argument of many high offers being an overpay is kind of stupid. Doesn't it just means that the value of the hat has risen?
Well you arent going to count an unusual offered to you as their highest value. Thats why theres unusual overpay.
I'm just saying from today's trades and offers this hat is more on the lower end of 3 buds and not really seeing it hit 3.8 buds. With just 1 oddball offer
Yeah I know what you mean, but I'm not counting the offered unusuals as their highest value; I took the middle values.
What comes to yourt latter argument, it kind of works both ways: I don't see why it wouldn't hit 3.8 bud mark because someone already offered 4.1 I.U (with unusual overpay) for it.
Here's proof of it http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9851966
Do you have proof of this hat being sold for that amount I.U?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9711033 offer Flaming Lantern Old Guadalajara ~4.7 buds in unusual ~4.2 buds pure .I agree UP+
