Try converting it. Like somewhere from 3-4 or around that.

You've proven that they're not going for 1 key, but you haven't proven your suggested range. Why 2-3 ref? Why not 2-2.5, or 2.5-3, or 3-4, or any variety of ranges? This is looking like an arbitrary price.
