Needs adjusting.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9849750 - 'Quickselling' at 4 buds - he in turn bought it for 3.5 buds 'Quicksell' - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9848314
Comments welcome as always.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9469479 - Buyout of 4 buds - Lowered price
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9870201 - Buyout of 4.4 buds (4 buds and 11 keys ish)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9589196 - No buyout set but apparently C/O of $100 which is less than 3 buds so we can disregard. - Bought for 4.6 a few months ago (See post below this)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8838799 - Buyout of 5 buds pure (Don't know why, this guy has been on trade servers constantly trying to sell it, he wanted 6 bud pure at first trying to justify some sort of theme, obviously he was laughed out of the server) - C/O Eerie anger? Asked for him to add but no dice.
Think this shows we can lower the higher end significantly and even the lower end to 4 buds. Higher end is based on the buyout set of 4.4 buds in the evidence provided.
While it pains me to say, I must agree. I'm the seller in the fourth link (the one with the C/O of 100 bucks - which I would NEVER take) and I bought this hat for about 4.6 a few months ago. I absolutely love it, but I'm afraid I must let go of it for less than I paid for it... It's a hard sell, really. The hat is awesome, the effect is very fitting but you know... it's still orbiting fire... It's not really getting offers (I haven't really got serious offers in the single month that I've been selling it).
Thanks for weighing in Dionysos. In theory this looks like a good hat and should be valued as one, but it IS Orbiting fire which people for some reason hate and the hat surprisingly hasn't been as well received as I thought it would.
Yeah, it's an amazing hat but 4.5 buds is a lot for an orbiting fire hat... Oh well, I could always keep it :p
People "quickselling" at 4 seem to be having quite a lot of trouble, I would say you could even lower it further. (sorry to those who own this)
:(
Seriously though, selling at 4 buds right now isn't even a quicksell. That's why they can't sell it for that, and this price needs an update.
Problem is the trades quickselling for 4 buds haven't been up all too long (one of them less than a day and one 2 weeks). So I think it's best to gradually bring it down rather than drop the price dramatically. If in another week or two the sales are still stagnant then I will probably review it again and re-suggest a lower or more appropriate price.
Not to mention the guy with the 2 week trade had the price set at 4 buds + 8 keys and has been offered a Secret to everybody Engy cap which I personally would take.
Edit: That engy cap is gifted so maybe not :p But either way, I stand by this price at the current time.
That's fair, although generally the practice is to wait for offers, especially because i really don't see any offers approaching 4.4 and b/os don't really matter here. I would wait a bit, you'll probably see most of the offers clustering in the mid to high 3s. (staying neutral, btw)
Well, second link has an offer of an Eerie Nano + 1 bud and 8 keys which is roughly 4 buds and 8 keys as an offer, which is why we can't disregard 4 buds as a lower end (yet).
yeah, I found no proof of that c/o which makes me nervous that it might be retracted or something.
True, but I could counter that by showing this link which shows an offer on a previous trade that is higher than 4 buds:

It was just his insistence on pure/promos which made him not accept it.
