Retards out for profit will always sell for higher, when keys were 2.33 people were always selling for 2.55 and 2.66 but the price didn't go up for ages. Jut keep the price steady on here and it won't go up, people will still be selling a rec over the suggested price whatever it is, that's not the price going up, it's just how it works. Uh it's all nonsense this key business, and so is this comment probably... forgive me, I'm tired ;)

All your proof is in the current range, save the 4 ref one which was an obvious quicksell--one trade isn't indicative of the entire market so that link is pointless to include.

Please show that keys are impossible to sell for 4.44 if you want this passed.

They are possible to sell at 4.44 tho. This suggestion was made mostly to make people stick togheter and stop buying keys for gay prices. And if this gets accepted, let it be. If it doesn't, atleast I tried, but in the future other people will make suggestions to make it go down.

If they are possible to sell at 4.44 then the current range is fine. We report on the market it's not our job to regulate it.

Suggestions aren't your soapbox, we have forums for that.

Not really, that's actually quite a bit. It varies last night I bought 4.

Even if you consider buying 4 a week a lot, doesn't change the fact people are buying keys for 4.22 - 4.33 each. There will always be people who add someone on the first post they see. Only people who don't care about how much they get would sell for 4 ref each.

Your attitude is exactly the reason moderators have to accept/reject things against the votes periodically.

You're trying to manipulate keys to go down and you're doing it with an emotional plea instead of facts and logic. Emotions run high with certain items (particularly keys) so the votes are not always reliable.

Excuse me, but I am just the voice of the community. And If I get banned for "Troll" suggestion I could care less. But hopefully I will make people stop buying keys for stupid prices so other people can make suggestions about keys unsold at the following price and get them accepted :P

The votes, moderators, and proof are all a system of checks and balances. Relying on just one of any of them would open too many avenues to manipulation

Proof doesn't always win. It's about what people want!. As Lazypurple said. Will we let the minority control the key price and leave the majority for dead?

The point of backpack.tf is to inform people. We don't dictate the market and a lot of people use our pricelist to avoid being sharked.

Protecting consumers goes in both directions. Stop being so selfish.

getting accepted with a lot of minus rep doesnt mean that it shouldn't be accepted. it gets a lot of downvotes for the exact same reason you're making this suggestion. because you're mad that key prices have gone so high.

guess what? people are buying for higher prices now, and it is rising. long218 proved that there are multiple buyers in this range and therefore got accepted.

and even if some guys will be rebels against the key inflation the rich people like me will still buy the keys for the high number. and since we have so much ref to work with, we dont care. its the people that have low bp value that suffers. but there's nothing we can do about it. if the market survives at that price and even gets higher, thats obviously the price it needs to be. not what your emotions tell you
