I think this price is right.
.
Nah, kidding, here's the proof.
I was actually expecting to sell this by the low end, but there are no offers accepted or even considered of that.
4 trades open, one with no offers (made less than a day ago) and other one is not selling, he is looking for a Max level 69.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9575203 (made a week ago)
Has offers of:
Blizzardy Storm Tam O' Shanter (23-29 keys) and sweets. Rejected.
Blizzard Whoopee Cap (25-34 keys). Rejected.
Orbiting Planets Conquistador (21-27 keys) and 6 keys. Rejected.
Bud and 6 keys pure. Failed to accept.
Black Connoisseur's Cap with Circling TF Logo (25-32 keys) Rejected.
1 Bud and sweets (A Vintage Sergeant's Drill hat,Vintage Officer's ushanka,Some metal and a clean furious fukaamigasa) Rejected.
Bubbling Panama (17-22 keys) and Bills (8 keys) Rejected.
NnB Hustler Rejected.
22 keys pure (answer: lol and hide)
My trade, made a day ago.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9880426
Offers of:
Steaming whoopee cap (23-25 keys) and sweets. Hidden by the person who posted (seems he may have sold it for a bud).
Orbiting Planets Conquistador (21-27 keys) and 6 keys (same poster as before)
I won't try to go higher in price since I think the range is fine, but this hat is definitely not selling for 23 keys.
Cheers.
You have to take the median of the unusual price and multiply it by 90%.
Take one of my best suggestions http://backpack.tf/vote/id/515b4c584bd7b84f4d00000c as an example
Liked comment. Thanks for the help.
Does that mean the range is wrong? or is it just another way of getting a price range?
Depends.
The offer of Blizzardy Storm Tam O' Shanter (23-29 keys) and sweets would be ~23.4 keys+sweets. Since it's rejected, the low range is okay to be raised.
The offer of Blizzard Whoopee Cap would be ~26.1 keys+, since it's rejected. Etc.
EDIT: I upvoted since, your range looks ok. Normally you need at least 2 months for a price range but that's only for >10% change
Engineer: Thanks Mister.
I just found some extra-evidence, hidden inside the last suggestion. Seems to support my range.
Edit: Extra evidence.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9301453 Sold for a bud.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8870986 sold for a bud and 6 keys or bud and 4 keys (unable to know) hidden inside the post of "1 bud and 4 keys maybe more? :)". Check history to see the trade.
I use low end *90%. No one ever takes a completely random unusual at that much, as B/Os at low end take days to be sold as well.
One sold just yesterday for a Bud + 6 Keys.
I also quick sold mine to my friend for a Bud last night.
Upvote.
Thanks a lot, mister! Liked your comment.
