Suggestion: Salvaged Mann Co. Supply Crate #40 at 5.5–6 keys

due to 6 keys buyer I'm leaving that in, but I'm trying to convince you guys that 5.5 keys is possible too right now. If you got anything constructive to say about my suggestion, please post a comment. If you're just saying : "ermuhgurd, #40 is gun dies zjould go up not down", please don't comment. If you got counterproof, post it. If it's convincing me I'll close my suggestion (did this despite 85% upvote on bacon grease)

Please don't start hating on the small amount of links, all sellers on outpost think that 12-30 keys for their #40 is gud deal and recieve nothing whatsoever. Buyers are trying at 3-4 mostly, and get nothing. These are pretty much the only trades I could find at a serious price.

Unless you can provide at least 15-20 successful trades/sellers with 5.5 I don't see this suggestion passing. This shouldn't be hard, there are 20 pages of trades at outpost that are <1hour old. Otherwise this suggestion blows.

Unsold doesn't mean anything, people could've bought it somewhere else and now these trades are closed. I've been sitting on unusual for 4 months now and it's still unsold, so what, I'm still not going to sell it for less. And yet you dare to post less than 24h old unsold trade as a proof. Bullshit.

I feel like there's a vicious cycle going between backack.tf and tf2outpost. People see the price recently dropped on here, then aim slightly lower on outpost. Price submitters look to outpost and see the slightly lower prices, then suggest that as the new price. People offer lower on outpost again and it continues. It's going to go back and forth until these are worthless.

While it is good to have a pricing guide, it's tough to predict the influence it'll have.

I understand the stranges going down as they become less rare every time a crate 40 is opened, but the number of crates themselves will de-crease.

that is true, but fewer people want them because there is less margin for profit on the unboxing at the price because the stranges inside them are going down, and most people buy crate 40 to unbox, because, as everyone know's all too well, what can you do with a crate you don't plan on unboxing? (NOTHING)(or delete it, you could do that too...)
