Suggestion: Strange Widowmaker at 1.75–2.25 keys

On classified these sell at 2.5 - 3 keys. I myself have been offered and added at 2.5 keys twice and sold it for an all father painted orange + a clean archimedes. Proof is in my trade history but noone cares and will donvote anyways. If you can show SOLD @ ur range and NOT SOLD @ the previous prices 2.5-3 keys then you can get this suggestion passed

You have a huge amount of buyers for 1 key but how many have been successful? You can't base your prices on quickbuyers price you need much more successful ones . For example how do we know you're not setting up alts to post trades to lower the price ? Not accusing u but its just an example

Also how can an item that you can only get from a crate which has stopped dropping go down so much that its price is lower than the price it had one day before the crate stopped dropping? Yes 4 keys was abit over the top but getting this low is riculous

Are you serious? Widow maker was always worth more so far and is the best competitive engineer shotgun unless you have bad aim which I suspect you have

If you'll look around, you'll see that now we got 3 low tier 40's stranges for ~2 keys each and 2 hight tier at 7-8 keys each. Isn't it mean that there are no demand for widow?

Well even if you have good jump skills aren't gunboats better oh I see that you make your fortune by sharking anyway how many people do you see on outpost doing 1:1 widow for punch or treads? None currently however from experience I know some people on outpost willing to 1:1 the latter for a s.widowmaker now we hmmm why could that be?

i didn't shark that guy, this things was at same price (my widow with Sps) and i also had second willing buyer.

Gunbots nice too, but do you know how trollder set popular this days? It's pretty hard to get kills on mantreads but it's very fun also, real challenge. Thats what my first post about.

And i agree that widow still higher than punch and treads but i see trend that they all becoming 2 keys stranges. People still remember that widow was higher than punch and punch is higher than treads, but they all have low demand now. And widow was priced as hight because people expected it to be 40' crate machina-middle tier strange with pretty hight demand, but now people understand that machina is way more popular weapon and widow becoming lower and lower tier item.

Downvote, proof is full of people quick buying and not very many include actual deals. Range is way off I think, if widow deserves a fall it should be about 2-2.75 keys, not 1.75-2.25.

the widow may need a small drop, but this is way too drastic. you need to show proof of *failed* sales at 2.5 and 3 keys

just sold two of mine in 5 min, there was a guy adding me 5 sec after a trade asking for 1 more, so totally that's 2 guys buying at 2 keys^^ hope this helps

I hate the widow maker, why would I buy one then?

I found like 6 for 2 keys and 4 for 2.25 keys in classifies like an hour ago, haven't sold

Quickbuyers shouldn't be part of the proof, because they're offering a quick way to get metal or keys, and some people can be desperate. http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/527/11/0 - 6 selling for 2 keys, so the old price is definitely too low. I'm not so sure about the 1.75 key low end though, as very few people are willing to sell for that.

I almost had to go with quick sell prices, because in the hour or so I put into research, little to no people were buying for the full price. Thus that leads me to think that there are too many on the market. It's all about supply and demand, right now there's a high supply and lower demand. That's my reasoning behind this suggestion. Now I would think in a few months the price will jump back if there's a greater demand and lesser supply.

Well it defiantly isn't going for 3 keys anymore(or at least not very often) maybe less drastic reduction would be better. 2-2.5 seems the going price

Well, lots of people are saying. They will pay 1 key and perhaps a little more, there has been some success with 1 key-1.5 keys, but I don't think the community is ready for that much of a drop. Like I said before, it's all about supply and demand, I wouldn't be surprised it the price does jump back in a month or two

Yeah! I wouldn't be surprised if keys bounced back when they reach a point where they are almost unaffordable
