Let's talk about the Strange Direct Hit. From my experience so far these things are pretty hard to move. First suggestion - constructive criticism is welcome.
Proof

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9719426 - 1 ref (Took an offer of 0.66 but it was retracted.)

Counter-proof
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9936518 1 ref (Sold after 1 day)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9651689 1 ref (Sold 2.)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9349876 1 ref (last add 4 days ago)
Welp that's all I've got. Have at it.
Holy crap a suggester that gives counter-proof? What is this.
I let people decide whether or not they feel it's justified. They're going to bring it up anyway. I feel that my proof just shows at this point that 1 ref is high-balling.
why do you have your own counter proof?
thats kinda pointless cuz that makes people downvote
and you've basically just shown that 1 ref is still possible
See above comment.
Not true. If the majority is traded below current range than that is to be considered. The ones that got 1 ref would appear to be lucky not the market norm.
I'm happy the logic behind my post is showing somewhat.
So if you have trades showing that 1 ref is still possible, why are you trying to change the price to say it doesnt go for 1 ref?
See above comment.
Iz gud proof Upvote, and its nice to find someone that isn't scared of putting counter proof on their suggestion..
This will be closed if you show that's it possible to sell for 1 Ref...
It will always be possible to sell for higher than bp.tf prices - look at keys.
I disagree with Swaqqq. Some people buy at high because timing problems etc. If most of that market won't pay 1 ref than that should be considered.
1 scrap change - REALLY needed?
Meh, I think so. I'm not really trying to whore for rep - more or less I'm trying to gain some experience for bigger suggestions I might want to make later on. It's a learning experience for me, but I'll keep in mind that 1 scrap changes are looked down upon. Though I feel like in the lower end of the strange market 1 scrap changes are warranted.
Keys suggestions live and die on .11 moves. U may be right about really low tier items. They could even change by .05. It makes more sense than saying they should move .33 or so. There are stranges that are price .11.
Anything under a ref, a scrap is fairly big. This is at least 11% off the high range.
I want to vote this up, but considering you have more proof that it sells at 1 ref than it sells at .66, that sounds to me like it actually deserves an increase. Put more .66 sales to show the 1 ref really is an outlier.
I'll look for some. Thanks for the insight.
Sold about ~10 pieces for 1ref and also 1.33, downvote
THIS! This is how trade suggestions should be made.
Yes! I agree,
I did see your comment about why you've added your own counter proof. The point is tho, if you find proof that current range is fine (ie, it's still able to be sold at 1 ref), then why are you making the price change suggestion? I mean, it doesn't need a change.
Backpack tries to show at what ranges trades are happening. If there's proof of
them happening at 1 ref, and the price is set below this, then it's failing its purpose.
You're missing the rationale behind it. The way I see it, these people are lucky, and that's all I'll say about it.
