With slow selling and unsolds at 1 Key, People selling for less in metal, and buyer success below 4 ref, I think this deserves a range.

why you writed successful buyers if some are just offers? :)

      anyway upvote

If I just wrote buyers, as has happened before, people seem to think I'm just listing what buyers say they are buying at, instead of trades where the buyer actually got it at those prices. The offers go in the same place because they're in buyer trades, and they also show more of what people are willing to sell their items at.

After going through your proof, most of your trades are less than 1 day old or inactive.

This item sells easily at 1 key, and I managed to do so just after a few hours of constant bumping. Lowering the price to 3.66 is just too low and there is insufficient proof to support that (notice I didn't even bother to mention buyer trades). Its a downvote from me.

I'm not sure how you got this wrong.

For some reason you have tried to discount my selling trades by putting them as new. I don't see how old a trade is matters when it's being used for selling proof.

The 16 hour one was a mistake yes.

I'm not sure why you included the view number. There's too many variables to make it count for anything - did people see the trade with notes on, therefore not having to open it and give it a view? Do people simply not open the trade because they dont want the item? Did they open it for another item? View counts add nothing.

From what I've seen, 1 day is the cutoff point for a trade being old enough to be used on the unsold side of proof. That, and you seem to have ignored the rest of my proof which showed older unsolds past 1 day.

The one's listed rarely bumped - one of the ones you listed has been up for several days and was bumped only 8 hours ago. One was 5 hours ago. Another 9 hours. The same goes for the rest. If that counts as rarely bumped, can the only trades used for proof be those that have been bumped every 30 minutes on the hour? These have been up for days and obviously bumped since then. They count.

Your sold for 1 key first link has no proof of it selling for 1 key.

I did notice you neglected to mention buyer trades. You cant ignore an entire half of the market just because you don't agree with their prices, especially when they're being hugely successful.

The small amount that is still able to sell for a keys helped create the high end for this. The low amount you can see from everything else, the sellers and the buyers - especially when you don't try to ignore proof because, in your opinion it makes the price too low.

Unless you don't know, it's perfectly normal for items to not sell within a day or 2. You have roughly 10 trades which are below 2 days so I don't see how that'll count as unsold.

You ask me why I include the view number? Click on those trades and see when was the last time they were bumped, some were rarely bumped. For an item such as the El jefe, it's impossible to accumulate only 20 + views if its being constantly bumped for a few days. I trade El Jefes all the time and look at my own trade. Constant autobump for around 2 hours, and only less than a day, I got 48 views with 3 bookmarks already.

I didn't ignore the rest of your 'unsold for a few days' proof. After taking out all the 1 day old trades, you're left with only a couple of valid proofs.

That's why you don't get it, look at the view count. They could've left the trades for several days without bumping it and came back a few days later to bump it once. The fact that they took around 8 hours + means they're not active traders.

Don't be ignorant, the first link of mine is just to show the trade which I opened, and the sales of the el jefe is showed in the link right below it.

Most ppl are successful into buying team captains for 1 key each and successfully sold them for 5.33-5.66 ref each. Does that mean the price should drop to 4.55-5.66? I don't think so. Successful buyer trades don't count when there are el Jefes still possible to sell at 1 key.

Like I said earlier, you use buyers trades to lower down the price. What about sellers selling for 3.66? Are there any? The fact that its still able to sell at one key means that a reduction of price to a low of 3.66 is not necessary.

            Additional proof:

            Sold for 1 key:

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9988317

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9881662

Constant autobump is not how the majority of trades are dealt with, nor is it a requirement for a trade to be used as proof.

Again you say rarely bumped. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9943644 A trade that has been up for 3 days, and was bumped only 7 hours ago now. You still try to list this as rarely bumped. If that is rarely bumped to you, then it would seem that only trades with autobump would count for anything.

"They could've left the trades for several days without bumping it and came back a few days later to bump it once. "

The very first one was re bumped just this day. Now you're trying to say that they all were open for days, but just happen to be bumped only once right before I looked for proof to discount them.

Don't call me ignorant, this is no place to start slinging out insults. The rest of your sentence doesn't make sense to me. The first link is to show the trade you opened? You listed it right under 'sold for 1 key' when it doesnt have proof that it is.

"For an item such as the El jefe, it's impossible to accumulate only 20 + views if its being constantly bumped for a few days."

This is an opinion, and another random number thrown out. I don't suppose you have anything substantial to back this up.

As for the team captain, your slinging out numbers (1 Key) without proof. When buyers are truly buying below the real market value, it usually takes them some time to get the items. The people selling to them are still sellers. Especially when there's a huge discrepancy between the suggested price and what people are having sucess at (More than 1 entire refined below the suggested price)

The price says the El Jefe is one Key (4.44 Ref) and one key only. Flat.

People are selling for 4, 3.66, 3, and other varying amount of refined between 3 and 4 at a consistent rate. People are having huge success buying below the apparent suggested price, with many people offering to part with their Jefe's for 3 and below, 3.66, and 4 ref. I still say it deserves a range.

"What about sellers selling for 3.66?"

It appears you didn't even bother to read the whole proof. They're there under selling, clear as day.

In short, it seems you're still furiously trying to ignore all the people willing to sell at far lower prices, because you deal in El Jefe's and a price drop might have an adverse effect on you. You wanted people selling at lower prices, I showed you that. You wanted bumped unsolds older than a day, those are there too. You try to discount buyers completely, but they're an entire side of the market. Especially when they're hugely successful.

On another note, half my 1 day old unsolds are now two days old, and the rest will likely be the same in the morning.

It's your fault you don't understand how items are sold on warehouse, where you have to bump your trades in order to get the most bang for your buck. But what do I know. When I was selling Strange Mantreads at 3 keys each a few weeks ago, it took me two days to sell five, and I had to constantly bump the trades.

I've sold almost all mine for a key within 2 days so I think the price doesn't need to be changed for now.

Still possible to sell at a key, just sold mine. It did take a few days though

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9952137

that's because yours wasn't bumped constantly. And there are two willing buyers at 1 key, so I don't see the point of dropping the price to a low end of 3.66 ref.

I am proving the price shouldn't go down, and it was bumped as often as Outpost would allow

If you're trying to count that buyer as a constant buyer (despite the fact the trade is closed) notice that they removed the muffler once they had one - they only wanted one of each.

Dude, that was a seller trade, not a buyer trade.

sold mine for a key a day ago

Alright. Do you disagree with their being a range though, with all the people selling below that? how long did it take you to sell it, and where did you advertise?

A trade history image would help too, if its not too much trouble.

took me maybe 2 hours. couldve taken less but im banned on outpost. i dont know how to upload an image onto backpack.tf. advertised on bp.tf. yeah downvoting cause its pretty easy too sell at a key

I sold mine for 1 key , it took 2 days but your still able to sell them all you need is patience.

I sold mine pretty fast (about 2 hours or so) to a guy a couple days ago for 1 key. I searched up people who were buying an El Jefe, trying to stay away from quickbuyers, and saw him buying one for 1 key. I contacted him and made a fast and easy transaction. I don't think this needs a price bump at the moment.

                    link 1 sold for 1 key/4 ref, more proof of 3.66 offers/sold?

                      sold mine for 1 key

Sold mine for a key less than an hour ago

                          downvote

Looks like grimdercell proved this wrong
