To be honest, I see a cycle. Price is 27 keys, resellers buy for 26 keys, so it goes down to 26-27 keys. Resellers then buy for 25 keys, so it goes down, again, now resellers are buying for 24 keys. Seriously?

24.5 - 25 is the actual range but buds never seem to accept .5 suggestions.

i also bought 18 keys at 4 ref yesterday.

my opinion is traders are quiting tf2 trading and they are selling for the quickest price..

why they are quiting i think its because of the recent crazy key prices that is why all of you must have noticed as i did the last weeks a drop in demand on everything from tools to hats and pure to promos..

so, i am not the only one that has noticed the recent lack of buyers of lets say, everything above 5 keys

No, I've been keeping an eye on the promo bot. It's like a price canary.

They've changed their price only once recently, from 24.5 to 24 keys, roughly 48 hours ago. All earbuds currently available in the bot were definitely purchased for 24 keys each. They have sold at least 6 at 25 keys as well, however.

Edit: I just now noticed they have changed their buying price to 23.5; I do not know if the available earbuds were bought for 24 or 23.5 keys. I do know that nobody yet has bought earbuds for 24.5 keys, which is the new selling price.

The price should not go down, just because a few people panic/quick sale.

Asking for and successfully selling are two different things. Only two of those links had interested buyers and all of them were around the time buds were 26-27 keys.

I know but still some trades don't lower their prices that fast. Adding up I have never understood why bankers and quicksells are reasons to change a price.

Quicksells have the condition that the item is sold fast and bankers want to make profit what means they change their prices after a suggestion again what would lead to another one (best example are the keys).

i made a post on the outpost. tried for 23 keys and got no where. the instant i made it 24 keys i had 3 friend requests.....

make that 4 requests...

Honestly they way people handle suggestions on this website is stupid. you know why the price is doping so much? because people are panicking and trying to sell their buds quickly to avoid losing profit so every time you guys lower the price by 1 key per day more people panic, prices drop drastically and your suggestion goes from completely invalid to valid. there should be a 1 week wait period for each item after a suggestion was passed to let the market settle and to see the REAL price.(unless of coarse its a suggestion to fix a wrongly accept suggestion). i bet if someone opened a suggestion for 15-20 keys and posted a bunch of fake links(most people who vote usually dont even check the links) then everyone would panic and there would be people selling for 14 keys.

Well then it's their own fault for over-speculating the market and blindly following a site without first thinking if it's really worth what the site says.

By the way, people do look at links, especially admins. If you posted a bud suggestion for 15-20 keys, not only would you get ridiculed by the users, you'd get banned by the admins.

I know admins check(for the most part) I'm referring to voters. people would see the suggestion with the fake links just blindly believe they are valid and panic to sell theirs giving the suggestion actual valid proof. id say less than a 1/3 of the people who vote actually look at the links or thoroughly read the proof. and no its not just their fault the site seriously needs a 1 week per item suggestion reserve.

I think you need to add more deals.

People are duping / sharking / scamming this like hell. No wonder the price goes down. At the start of the Linux update everybody went screaming: HUR DUR 60 K BUDS 20 K TUX! Well if you look at stats.tf now, it says a little less than 65K Buds. That's really pathetic, because the Linux update wasn't such a long tiem ago too.

base64 has proven that there are over 100,000 existing unique IDs for Earbuds; stats.tf only tracks inventories that were looked up on backpack.tf

ergo more people using backpack.tf = more earbuds being counted.

Not really counter-proof. I'm actually on lowering the prices of Earbuds. I think they look nice. And if they'd drop I could afford a ton more >:D

I hope you want them for just cosmetic. They will drop, and more people will shift currency to keys (If buds continue to drop).

it's not the key that is raising, it's metal that is decreasing. i dont know why buds are at that price.
