I just sold a Sunbeams Noh Mercy minutes ago for 38 pure to Jewlander. Him and Kaos were both willing to pay 34+ buds for it, Kaos offered 34 + a Flies Flamboyant Flamenco, and Jewlander countered with 38 Buds pure, which Kaos was unable to outbid. So multiple people are willing to go ridiculously high for one of these unusuals!
cool story
pics or it didnt happen
What did you pay in $USD for it from [ABT] auspiciousUracil?
Also, providing a screenshot of your trade history would be nice.
edit: fuck
Here's the screenshot.
Here are some pics of the trade from my side:

Congrats on your new hat, you should add it to your Cloudy moon collection- oh wait.
Also, apparently a Burning Noh Mercy is the God over the Burning TC? Never would have guessed it.
EDIT: Just kidding, the Burning Noh sold for less than the TC. I can't read well.
It was gifted though. ;)
Full story on the Sunbeams Noh:
I was contacted by a user via a forum I frequent about his friend who owned a Sunbeams Noh Mercy for a long time and wanted to sell it since he didn't play anymore. He contacted me and I looked around, trying to find other examples of Sunbeams Noh Mercy's for sale, but turning up no recent ones, so I checked BP.TF and it said...18-22 at the time, I think. I hadn't been in the trading game for well over a year and hadn't known about the values or what was going on with Unusual Noh's and figured a Sunbeams spy unusual might be a hard sell even for a good item like a Noh, so I offered him three options.
One: I buy it outright for less than I thought I could sell it for, and get him the cash instantly. The Pawn Stars approach, essentially.
Two: I broker it, and he gets whatever I sell it for, but I can't guarantee it will sell(for example, I've been brokering a Moon Fruit Shoot since Halloween with no sale).
Three: I give him advice on where to sell it, how to set up his trades, safe trading practices, etc and he can sell it on his own.
He didn't want to deal with waiting or selling it himself, so he chose the first option. I figured based on my only resource, BP.TF, that I could get around $600-650 tops for it, so I offered him $300, and an extra $50 if I sold it for more than what I expected. I listed it on TF2OP and then my friend messaged me and said "yo, you should probably take that buyout off your Sunbeams Noh listing and just let it ride as an auction instead, it's ridiculously rare and there hasn't been one on the market in a long-ass time." So I took the buyout off, which I think was 22 buds at the time, and let it run. Lots of 22-25 offers rolled in, Jewlander made a 26 bud offer, and I let the auction go for an extra week, when Kaos of TF2-T fame came and started offering 28 + a Flies Flamenco, and got into a bidding war with Jewlander until it culminated in Kaos simply not having enough in his pack to be able to buy it, and Jewlander won with a 38 bud offer.
In light of this sale, once I sell some of these buds, I'm going to be kicking an extra 150 to the guy I bought it from instead of an extra 50. Man, I am staggered that it sold for so much. Especially after hearing about the Burning Noh sale to Jewlander a couple days ago!
We still need pics of the completed sale to make sure it sold for that though.
Here ya go. http://i.imgur.com/sDdbDEu.jpg
Awesome sauce. Looks good, upvote even if the price was just accepted yesterday :P
Julia got a little bit hasty there. :P
At the time, the trade said that it was going to happen exactly as I was making that suggestion! :P Then Kaos got involved and up it went. ... Overall, I am happy because I still have my Peace, Ghosts and GE Nohs, and this might start bringing up their values too (eventually). ;)
Only time will tell! :D
Well, I agree with the person in that comment thread saying "probably shoulda waited for it to actually sell first", since Kaos came along at basically the last second(15 minutes or so before I planned on ending the auction) and began that wonderful bidding war every Ebay seller hopes to have happen on their auctions. :V
upvote. looks good
and every buyer fears like the dickens :P
