Only 3 for sale on outpost.
Link 1
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10062666 selling for 2.33 (other one is renamed and he's selling it for 2.66) (probably has/had a buyer and an offer of 2 ref)
Link 2
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9617876 no offers in the past week, old offers only.
Since there are 3 on outpost I couldn't find more proof because of that.
COUNTERPROOF
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9967667 sold 5 days ago for 1.66
5, DAYS, AGO. OLD, DUDE. and still I've shown that there is a 2 ref offer and a buyer at 2.33.
1. 5 days is not old, especially if there is so low demand and supply.
2. Offer =/= sale.
3. The guy who offered 2 ref, don't even have it.
I know, but the seller is probably Firm at 2.33, and that's the only trade which has offers. So, basically he sets up the price.
There are 16,352 such items. One seller does not set the price. Especially, since others have been recently sold for less.
and most of them are either dirty or haunted.
Well, even if there are few on the market BUT nobody buys it... Plus, in classifieds there is 1 at 1.66 ref unsold for a week. Maybe you should close your own suggestion.
Well, he had a buyer and a 2 ref offer, apparently some people wants to buy it.
if he had a 2 ref offfer, why the high-end of this suggestion is 2.33? Looks like nobody willing to pay it.
um, because he had buyer, i'm assuming he was buying since he said "added"
But that post was hidden by the trade's owner. Probably the buyer added him to offer something else or just retracted his offer. Anyway, it's a very controversial proof.
I know but the Link 1 is the only one active on outpost which is getting offers. so basically that trade sets up the price.
The price should be based on completed sales or/and offers, not on the buyouts (take a look at the Unusuals suggestions).
and what if it only has 1 active trade?
Maybe, but the offer was 2 days ago and he/she hasn't sold yet.
not sure why, but still it was a willing buyer for that.
3 sold on outpost doesn't mean they are the only one selling it.
um, if there were more people selling it, they would have put a trade saying that they're selling it.
yeah they can be selling it on other tf2 trading websites like bazaar, reddit or even in-game tf2
The trading world is really vast...... You can't judge that only 3 people are selling the misc. Not Everyone uses tf2 outost
well, since unique one is so rare there won't be many sellers, there might be a few more that we haven't seen but that's it.
http://bazaar.tf/search?s=929&sg=440&sp=quality%3D6%2Clevel%3D&b=&bg=&bp=
This is just from one trading websites..... there are still more
Also rare doesn't mean the item will go up in price.
If people don't buy it, raising the price will be pointless.
i'm not saying it's because it's rare, i'm just saying that there are just a few of them on sale, and you won't find any, since you're saying "oh, there are more sellers, just not on op, hurr durr"
Those are all uncraft ones, bazaar's search must have messed up.
I don't see any reason it needs to go up, I've bought four at 1.66ref, and have only sold one http://i.imgur.com/E24EQfC.png (I valued keys as 4.33ref at the time, ~2.88ref if you count everything as equal value)
more than a week ago.
That's great, you're saying that the only proof that may have helped the suggestion is invalid.
