A suggestion has never been accepted. Documented sale of 3.5 pure 1 month ago.
3.5 pure - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9252904 - per koga in the closed suggestion. must have added a few more sweets
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9464018 - no notable offers (highest was a lowball of 2.1 pure?) - never sold and trade was closed
3 months ago:
4.25 pure - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7708939 - sold for planets bubble pipe (4.75 in unusuals)
Best Offers:
3.15 pure - rejected
Beams Bucket + 1 (3.35 in unusuals)
Not a lot to go by, and a conservative bump is certainly more accurate than the current price. One sale at 3.5 pure (per koga), although he also had a b/o of 3.5 at one point here - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9083702. If you consider the offers in the 3 months old trade, the best offers are in the 3-3.5 range if you exclude the 4 buds outlier.

you stole that hat I was going to do next :(
Yeah, my old suggestion was too high, but I was an unusual newbie then ;] But I sold it for that nice themed bubble pipe which was incredible overpay considering this old price.
But 3 buds isn't too low? I got few offers around 4 then and that bubble pipe could make high end to like ~~4.5.
Yup. I looked at your old suggestion and we had a discussion about this here - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5172a20e4bd7b87e0900000a
Koga had a b/o of 3.5 pure for a while. And it seems he ended up selling for about 3.4 pure. The vast majority of decent offers run from 3-3.5. I think your 4+ in unusuals was just an outlier.
Hm yeah, that your older suggestion seems fine to me. Still 100 times better than current lowball price. Well, this still will be better, but I see 2 sales: Kogs'a for 3.4 pure and mine for 4.75 in unusuals so I thought 3.5-4 would be very good. Still upvote, but you know what I mean, 4 in unusuals seems very possible to me ;]
Both of you:
Again: 3 month old stuff is nor evidence.
omg stop this. There are 2 good proofs that old lowball price is outdated. But no, better keep old price o.O I hope admin will see that too.
Omg I saw the 3.4 sold.
Now for the low end.
Why use a lowball for the low end? If there is a sale at 3.5 it really should be 3.5 flat or 3.5 in the middle range. I'm only bumping it up to 3-3.5 because he had his b/o at 3.5 and it took a little while to sell.
I think it could be accepted as evidence, considering that the current range was set based on no evidence and was never put to a vote.
(1) The price is based on a sale in the last month.
(2) Like Rik says, we usually don't use 3 months proof as evidence because suggestions are usually more recent than that and there are more sales to go off of. But in this case 3 months old is better than nothing because there has never been a suggestion and more data points is always better than fewer data points.
